If you've ever spotted "ghost p**p" in your yard and wondered what on earth happened, here’s the quick scoop:

It’s just calcium from their food. When a pile sits under the blazing Texas sun, the heat quickly bakes out all the moisture, leaving behind harmless, chalky white minerals.

The only downside? Leaving it out there too long will scorch a nice dead yellow circle into your St. Augustine or Bermuda grass.
