The first two pictures are Rosie now.

The last pictures are Rosie one year ago, when she was found drowning in a pool with a broken jaw. Animal Control had taken her to the shelter, and we began receiving tag after tag from people pleading for someone to help this sweet girl who was facing euthanasia.

Our village came together for Rosie.

Because of your support, Rosie received the surgeries she needed, holistic care, nourishment, healing, and the safety to finally rest. Today, the little girl who once fought to survive is thriving, playful, and deeply loved. We believe Rosie is somewhere between 13–15 years old, and every single day with her feels like a gift.

This is what your donations help us do.

You help us say yes to the seniors, the broken ones, the forgotten ones, and the ones others give up on.

Right now, we are asking for help with our monthly food order, which must be placed now for next week’s delivery. Feeding this many rescue animals each month is a huge commitment, and every donation—big or small—helps keep bowls full and healing moving forward.

If Rosie’s story touches your heart, or if Tzus and Mews Rescue has ever made you smile, please consider supporting the animals in our care.

Together, we keep healing going.

This rescue has never been built on luck. It has been built on love, faith, and a village of people who continue to show up for animals who once knew abandonment, pain, confusion, or neglect.

Every single month, we place a food order that keeps more than hungry bellies fed here. It helps care for seniors, medical babies, special diets, and the daily nourishment that allows these rescue babies to feel safe, healthy, and cared for.

When we look around here, we don’t see “expenses.” We see healing.

We see dogs who finally sleep peacefully after years of uncertainty. We see bodies growing stronger. Fear softening. Playfulness returning. We see animals learning that the world can feel safe again.

And every bowl of food placed down becomes part of that story.

This month, we are calling in the $2,000 needed to cover our recurring monthly food order. Instead of standing in worry, we are standing in trust. We are standing in gratitude for the village that has always helped carry this mission. We are standing in the knowing that what is created with love continues to be supported through love.

For years, this village has helped us continue saying yes to healing, second chances, and giving these babies the life they deserve. Every meal placed down matters more than people realize.

If this rescue, these babies, or their stories have ever touched your heart, and you feel called to pour into their next month of nourishment, we welcome you to be part of the care that keeps this home running.

Every share matters. Every prayer matters. Every gift matters. Every person who believes in what we’re building matters.

Together, we continue feeding healing.
