CLEO has been going to DAYCARE!

Karen's K9 in Frazer has helped us out by having Cleo a couple days a week! Here he's playing and socializing and getting some energy out! ~Thanks to the team at Karen's K9.

Cleo is now 6 mos old, UTD on shots and preventatives and neutered.
LOVES toys and people! Good with other dogs in the home but does have some playful energy. He also lives with two cats.
Would do well as a hiking partner and have a yard!

MEET Archie, Arlo and AMY! Just arrived from Tennessee!

Before you ask the age old question. We have no idea what breed they are because they are literally a mishmash of several it looks like.
They are on the small side ranging from 5-9 lbs and 10 weeks old. I attached a photo of the mother (she has been spayed and kept by the owner). With Amy's spots, we can can conclude there's some heeler in there. Arlo's fur is fluffy and their mother has a longer nose, so maybe hound?
These 3 are Parvo survivors and the only ones that survived from the litter.
Stay tuned for more pics of all 3 but they are doing very well so far in their foster homes. They are happy and healthy babies!

MEET SAMPSON!!
Sampson (Sammy) is a sweet 14 week old Shepard Mix pup (dob 3/12/26). While his beginnings in Tennessee were tough, he has shown resilience and made remarkable strides before relocating in PA. Sampson arrived with his siblings on our last transport.

Sampson is truly the sweetest and one of the most well-mannered pups his current foster has had. He is great on the leash- both harness and collar. He is good with young kids (3 year old child) and other dogs. Sampson would do best in a home with another dog or an active owner to play and keep moving. Sampson is easily redirected when engaging in active puppy mischievousness. He is working on potty training and has been making a lot of progress in this area with days of several successful trips outside. He does well in the crate and sleeps 7+ hours at night. Sampson is available for adoption after 6/27 but we are taking applications! Please SHARE!

CAT FOOD NEEDED! 😻

We are asking for some food donations for Jackie that we have helped over the years. She’s a single mom feeding 15 feral cats she had TNR’d several years ago. She does get some food from Fairchild Foundation, but needs help in between. She’s down to 1 1/2 bags. Here’s is what the cats prefer, sold at Walmart. Happy for any food though. Message us for where to send! Those that have donated in the last, same address. 😻

LAST PUPPY OF THE LITTER!
FOSTER NEEDED!
Scarlett is the last puppy of this litter. We do not want to leave her behind for Saturday's transport.
Several weeks ago, Scarlett and her siblings came out of the woods up to their rescuer's house. No on knows where they came from or how far they walked. Scarlett was in the worst shape with embeded ticks on her face and cuts.
Pups are doing great now and have been in foster getting healthy. They are now 13 weeks old. 3 siblings have rescue but Scarlett is still waiting for a foster to step up.

FOSTER NEEDED! OWNER SURRENDER!
Croski is a 1.5 year old American Bully who is incredibly loving, playful, and full of energy. He is both potty trained and crate trained. He absolutely loves to run and play, especially with soccer balls.

He is very good with children, though he can play a bit roughly and tends to nibble during playtime, but he has never bitten anyone or shown any aggression. While he is generally good with other dogs, he can be a bit fearful and cautious because a larger dog jumped on him when he was a puppy. He also tends to chase cats, though he hasn't had direct contact with one yet.

Croski is up to date on all his shots but is not neutered. He is a sweet boy who just loves to have everyone's attention.

FOSTERS NEEDED!
Minnie and or Mandy- This is a sad story coming up so be prepared!!!! We've been asked to help with these two dogs who would be coming from Tennessee.

Two female chocolate labs mixes- 2.5 years old. Minnie and Mandy are sisters who were abandoned by their owners when the couple broke up and neither the man nor woman took them to their new homes. They lived with this couple until 18 mos old and then just abandoned.

Minnie and Mandy live together in a wire kennel in the woods for shade. They are fed and watered by concerned neighbors and the mother to the prior owner. The pen is not cleaned, it gets overgrown and miscellaneous trash is in it. They are rarely let out to run because the caretaker is afraid she can’t catch them. She is a small person and the dogs are not small. They have not been leash trained. The original ower offered to shoot them if no one wants to take them. The mother and neighbors intervened and asked him not to kill them, that they would find rescue. The son occasionally buys food for them. They are well fed and always have fresh water coming into their water container.

They are shy but the woman in the photo can handle them easily and they were not aggressive towards rescuers that they met. We put a slip lead on them individually to take photos outside the pen. Mandy got lose when the rescue was there and played with another dog that was in the yard. She came back to the woman and went back to the pen. The shy one would not go that far. They once were loved so I believe they will be quick to acclimate to attention and family life.

They are litter mates and not bonded so we have to separate them because Mandy from time to time will dominate her sister. The other pups were given away to whomever would take them. They are not bonded. I heard today that Mandy won’t stay in the pen anymore and plays with the neighbors' young heeler. Doesn’t run away, just wants to be out and about.

The rescue will try and get some vet records if available, get them UTD on shots and dewormed. Fortunately, they are both spayed however, heartworm is possible because they’ve been living outside with no preventatives. They will have a heartworm test.

FOSTERS NEEDED! Transport has been moved to Saturday 6/13/26.

🐾🐾The S litter- 13 weeks upon delivery Saturday- Sampson, Scarlett, Sydney, Sabrina. Found abandoned in the woods and rescued by Southern Puppy Rescue, doing well and ready for their new homes!
🐾🐾Melvin- beautiful hound puppy with long ears. 10 weeks old upon delivery
🐾🐾Odie- sweet bully breed, 4 y o, 58 lbs. and has been waiting a LONG time for rescue. good with kids and very good with other doggies.
