Glaze is one of our senior boys, very much loved by all the volunteers. He does well in playgroup and has gotten along fine (in a gentle & dainty way) with every dog he's met at the shelter.

Here's a very brief look at Doofy (tan), in the play yard with his friend Rayna (Valerie) (black). He's getting more comfortable every time he goes to playgroup! Doofy still shows a little reticence when he meets a new dog, but as soon as he realizes they're just like him, off he goes, romping around.

This dog's original name was Niko. When he was found as a stray, he was given the name Rolo. We haven't had a chance yet to see which name he answers to.

Maui, male All-American Dog, DOB 01/01/2018

Maui was surrendered when his owners felt they could no longer care for him adequately. He primarily lived outdoors but lived with another dog and children in the home and is stated to be housebroken. He knows how to sit and stay and is very food motivated! He is learning how to walk nicely on a leash here and enjoys getting out for walks. Maui came in with some skin issues and has since gone to the vet and all testing points to allergies. He is ready to find a new family to call his own that will give him all of the attention and love he wants!

Oscar, young male Poodle mix, DOB 03/06/2025

Oscar was found as a stray and brought into the shelter. It was found that he was microchipped but that led to a prior owner who had rehomed him a few months ago and no longer had the information for those people. No one has come looking for him, so he is now looking for a new family. He is a very sweet fellow who loves to sit for treats. He seems to do well with other dogs and is a fast learner! Oscar can't wait to find a new family that understands he is still young and would benefit from training, who also understands the grooming needs that come with a mixed breed like him.
