Finish Friday: here’s the second mount I finished today. I mounted this aoudad, or Barbary sheep, ram for Joe Lopez. Mounted on a wall pedestal form from Jetz Taxidermy Supply.

I just finished this beautiful wide elk, or wapiti, as it is know by many native peoples. This bull was killed on the Mescalero Apache Reservation in New Mexico by Kinsey Corey and was mounted on a floor pedestal form from Headquarters and converted to a wall pedestal. I also downsized the manikin to fit.

Repair incoming. I mounted this deer in 2025 but it fell off the client’s wall when the wall anchor failed. I rehydrated the muzzle, cut off the foam nose and attached a plastic cast nose, repaired the breaks in the nose pad skin and repainted.
