🇺🇸 Labor Day Weekend Hours Announcement 🇺🇸

Conover Veterinary Hospital will be CLOSED on Monday, September 7th in observance of Labor Day so our team can spend the holiday with their families. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause!

🐾 Need to see us before the holiday? 🐾
We will be open on Saturday, September 5th for WALK-INS ONLY (no appointments).
Please make sure to pick up any medication or food refills prior to the holiday weekend.
If your pet experiences an emergency while we are closed, please contact your nearest local emergency veterinary clinic.

We hope you & your family have a fun, safe, & memorable Independence Day!

As you celebrate, please remember that the holiday can be especially stressful for our furry family members. Fireworks, loud gatherings, & unfamiliar activity can cause fear & anxiety, even in pets who don’t normally seem nervous.

🐾 Keep pets safely indoors before the fireworks begin.
🐾 Make sure they have a secure, quiet place to relax.
🐾 Ensure collars & ID tags are up to date, just in case.
🐾 Use caution (& a leash) if bringing pets to fireworks displays.
🐾 Keep festive foods, alcohol, sparklers, & glow sticks out of reach.

A little extra precaution today can help keep your best friend safe & comfortable.

Just a friendly reminder that we will be closed for the Fourth of July so our team can celebrate with their families. ❤️🤍💙

As you enjoy the festivities, please remember that fireworks can be frightening for our furry family members.

🐾 Keep pets safely indoors.
🐾 Make sure collars & ID tags are up to date.
🐾 Close windows, curtains, & blinds to help reduce noise.
🐾 Turn on the TV, radio, or a fan to help mask the sound of fireworks.
🐾 Be cautious bringing pets to fireworks displays. (ALWAYS LEASHED)
🐾 If your pet has a history of anxiety, be sure to give any prescribed calming medications as directed.

Due to inclement weather, we will have a delayed opening Monday, January 26th. ❄️
The safety of our clients, patients, & staff is our top priority.
