Time for our rabbit highlight this week!

Sweet Lulu came to us over a year ago from a shelter in the Bay Area. Lulu is her third name; she came to us with the name Whiz, which we changed immediately to Wendy. We could tell right away that she was fun, sweet, and outgoing! Her personality shined, and she was adopted a month after she came to us (May 2025). Unfortunately, she was returned to us through no fault of her own in November 2025 due to family issues and changes. They renamed her Lulu.

This time she was with us for 3 months, and didn't lose any of her personality or fun loving spirit! She was adopted again briefly earlier this year, but came back this time because she needs a lot of attention that the family didn't have time to provide.

See, Lulu wants to be with you! She is great with kids, and has good manners, but will act out if she feels she isn't getting the attention she deserves. She would be wonderful in a home that is active and playful with lots going on if she can be a part of it! She is scared of very little and would love to be part of your regular daily routine.

She is special, and fun, and her next home really needs to be the forever one. We know her perfect people are out there! She is just waiting for them to come and claim her.

Timmie and Tommie were both adopted!

Timmie was adopted 12/2025 and Tommie was adopted 3/2026!

Hoppy Friday!

Our next adoption day is tomorrow Saturday May 16th! We will be at the Petco in Roseville off Douglas blvd from 12pm-4pm.

We wanted to take the opportunity this week to highlight a great bunny who seems to be overlooked! Black rabbits are often passed over since their coloring is not as interesting as many other rabbits.

Licorice came into our care at the beginning of November 2025. He was found outdoors with another male rabbit by a Good Samaritan near Marysville and brought to us. They were both neutered and vaccinated for RHDV2. The other rabbit has since been adopted (they were not a bonded pair).
He loves to eat, and his acquaintance is more easily made if you have food! He's clean and great with his litter box.

Licorice can be a little standoffish with new people, but he does come out of his shell eventually! He can be very playful and fun in a home environment where he feels safe.
We hope that his forever family is just out there waiting to meet him. Could it be you?
