Everyone please meet Elsie. Because she would love to meet you! Seriously, if you're looking for a cat that instantly approaches and accepts love and affection, this is your gal. Else is the type of cat that can change the heart of a "non-cat person" easily. Her personality is just as beautiful as her silver gray fur and golden eyes. We never want to play favorites, but she's pretty purrfect. She's a little over a year and a half old and up to date on her shots. Elsie is so ready to find her forever home!

Dear Humans,

We regret to inform you that our food supply is running dangerously low.

Our people tell us the cupboards are looking a little bare. We find this completely unacceptable. Have they forgotten that we are growing kittens with BIG dreams? We have couches to conquer, toys to attack, laps to occupy, and a lifetime of being adorable ahead of us. All of that requires FUEL!

So, we held an emergency meeting (there was some biting, a lot of squeaking, and absolutely no one stayed on topic) and voted on our most urgent demand:

This yummy goodness is especially important for the tiniest kittens who are just starting solid food, as well as the hardworking mama cats who need extra nutrition while nursing their babies.

Introducing the "Tiny Ts!"
Meet Toni, Titan, Turbo, Tiffany, Tracy, Tabitha, and Trudy 😻

This adorable crew was brought to the home of one of our Volunteers by their momma herself. She knew the right place to bring them to ensure they grew strong and healthy and found their furrever homes. Maybe your's?

Toni - Who doesn't love a tuxedo kitty with a beauty mark?
Titan - Super smart observer. He takes his cues from his bro Turbo for playtime.
Turbo - The bravest of the bunch. He loves the view from a shoulder perch!
Tiffany - Has eyes that can see through your soul and she loves affection.
Tracy- She's a shy gal who enjoys her quiet time and would likely do best if adopted with a litter mate. She and Trudy are often cuddled up together.
Tabitha- The bravest girl of the group with a wild spirit and an absolute foodie.
Trudy - Like Tracy she is shy, but she is easily won over with affection.

Well, it’s been over a month since we first introduced the S Litter to all of you, and we have some EXCITING NEWS!

Snoopy, Smudge, Sadie, Sunny, Samantha, and Sophie are officially READY to find their forever homes!

Of course, we’re a little sad that some of the people who originally applied have since changed their minds. But hey… their change of heart could be your lucky day! Just LOOK at those sweet little faces! How can anyone resist?

Autumn is the PERFECT time to bring home a snuggly little kitten. Think cozy evenings, warm blankets, tiny purrs, and a furry little friend curled up beside you.

Sure, kittens can be mischievous enough to get into a few tricks… but they’ll give you a lifetime of treats! And these six little pumpkins are ready to fill somebody’s home with laughter, love, and plenty of kitten shenanigans.

Penny is only 9 months old, but this little girl has already experienced more than any young cat should.

She was found on the streets with her five tiny kittens, struggling to survive while somehow finding the strength to keep all of her babies safe and fed. When Penny arrived at Royce’s Rescue, she was heartbreakingly thin.

And yet, despite being just a baby herself, Penny was an amazing mama. She gave everything she had to her kittens. She made sure *they* ate first. She made sure *they* were safe.

Now her babies are growing up… and it’s Penny’s turn.

Her new job description is much simpler:

🐾 Eat.
🐾 Nap.
🐾 Get loved.
🐾Love her people right back!
🐾 Repeat.
🐾 Never worry about where the next meal is coming from again.

Penny is learning that the food bowl is going to stay full. There will be breakfast. There will be dinner. There may even be snacks. This is not a drill, Penny. There is FOOD.

She is still a *little* protective of her snacks, and honestly… can you blame her? After spending her early life wondering where her next meal would come from, she has some very strong opinions about sharing.

But underneath that little “MINE!” attitude is a wonderfully sweet young cat who deserves to finally experience what it feels like to be safe, secure and completely spoiled.

Penny has already been a mama. Now she gets to be a spoiled a baby.

Because of her difficult start, Penny LOVES people and attention, but would be happiest as an only cat, where she can soak up all the love and attention for herself.

She has spent her young life taking care of everyone else.

Meet Pecan! 🍂

Looking for the perfect way to warm up those chilly autumn mornings? Cozy blankets and a hot mug of coffee are great, but we have something even better! Meet Pecan, our beautiful little gray tabby who is guaranteed to bring maximum warmth to your heart.

Pecan is everything a kitten should be: cute as a button, full of curiosity, and 100% committed to being your new tiny tabby shadow! Wherever you go, she will follow—if you walk into another room to pour a fresh cup, don't worry, she’s purring right behind you!

This 4-month-old domestic shorthair is fully vetted and ready for her dream home, which ideally includes plenty play, cuddles and a friendly resident kitty companion (or consider adopting a pair from Royce’s Rescue!)

From street-smart to sweethearts!

Meet Dottie, Freckles, and Jewel! These three 5-month-old kittens were originally caught on the streets of Philadelphia during a TNR (Trap-Neuter-Release) mission. Thanks to kind community members who brought them to Royce’s Rescue, these babies were spared a life on the streets!

When they first arrived, they were very spicy—lots of hiss, no kiss! But with time, love, and patience, their confidence has soared and their true, sweet personalities are beginning to shine through.

🧡 Freckles is a handsome buff and white boy.
🤍 Jewel is a stunning grey and white girl.
🖤 Dottie's a gorgeous tortie girl with a brave heart. When she was rescued, Dottie had a severe eye infection that required surgical removal. She is now fully recovered, 100% healed, and thriving!

All three are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, and up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations. They’ve come so far and are ready for their next chapter. They will do best in a cat-savvy home that is willing to give them patient love while they continue to learn to trust people.

HUNGRY, HUNGRY KITTENS!

Remember 🦛Hungry Hungry Hippos🦛? The game where everyone frantically chomped away at the little balls as fast as they could?

Well… welcome to 🐾Hungry Hungry Kittens — Royce’s Rescue edition!🐾

Our kittens may be tiny, but when it’s mealtime, they transform into a room full of furry little eating machines! 😹

And right now, we have A LOT of hungry mouths to feed. Kitten season has been unrelenting on Royce’s Rescue this year. With adoptions moving more slowly, our babies are staying with us longer — and that means we’re going through kitten food at an incredible rate.

We don’t need game pieces.

We need kitten food. Lots and lots of kitten food.

Every can, every case, every bag of food donated helps keep those tiny bellies full while our kittens grow, thrive, and wait for their forever families.
