I haven’t been making them wait to eat because they listen & understand me pretty well. Nowadays I just pour the food in the bowl & let them eat. As long as when I call their name & the come over to see what I want we don’t have a problem. The dogs that you do not see in the video are in a cage waiting to eat separately because they were not listening & they were causing a disturbance within the group. This is how I keep order within my pack. Without out order my dogs would be a danger to themselves & others. Thanks for watching.

I like to call my dogs, while they are eating, to help them learn recall better. This help my dogs to ignore distractions & listen to me better when we are outside. These are some great dogs. Thanks for watching.

Pee-Wee has only been here for 1 day & she is already showing me LOVE. She understands that I am in charge of protecting & keeping everyone safe. She is starting to trust me more. Remember build a bond with your dog 1st. Then start training. Thanks for watching.

I am teaching Brutus not to go out of the gate. I do this by creating a stopping point for him. If he goes past a certain point, I will make him sit and tell him no. Afterward, we will repeat the process until he understands what I am trying to teach him. Thanks for watching.

Walking is very necessary for you & your dog to do. When your dog is pulling on the leash this can make walking unpleasant for you both. I hope these videos can help your dog to stop pulling on the leash. Let me know if it works. Thanks for watching.

To get my dogs not to pull me when they are walking on a leash I use a slip lead. The regular leash goes on a collar around the dog’s neck. The leash is in the wrong position. The slip lead goes directly behind the dog’s ears. When using a slip lead you need to pull up on the leash instead of pulling back. This upward motion creates leash pressure & they do not like it. This will help my dogs to understand that they must not pull on the leash. Pulling on the leash is very uncomfortable to me & pulling up on the slip lead is very uncomfortable to my dogs. We must meet in the middle to have balance. Using a slip lead helps create this balance. I will post a video of the slip lead I like to use. I don’t like using the cheaper ones because in my opinion they do not work. Please follow my YouTube channel @ Donnell Wise. I’m going to start posting full training videos there. It’s free to subscribe. Thanks for watching.

This is my 2nd time seeing Pee-Wee & she is doing much better. She recognizes & understands that I am in charge of keeping everyone safe. When she first came through the gate she was VERY nervous & scared. She wouldn’t even let me pet her. When all of the dogs rushed over to see who she was I didn’t let them all surround her. This way she wouldn’t feel uncomfortable & want to attack out of fear & reactivity. I just kept the dogs out of her face. She wouldn’t let me give her any treats so I put them on the ground & walked off. I need to give her space & time. This way she will build a bond with me & trust me better. Remember the first impression is the best impression! Thanks for watching.
