While this is a difficult transition, his family has loved him very much and wants what is ultimately best for him.

Vannak is a medium drive, lower energy, strong minded boy who will thrive with a handler who understands the importance of structure, consistency, and clear boundaries. He needs someone who is confident enough to set expectations and consistently follow through with them.

He has been with me here for 4 weeks and will remain here with me for the next couple of weeks while we work on continuing to polish his skills. My goal is to find the right placement rather than simply find him a home, and I am happy to tailor some of his remaining training around what his future handler wants to accomplish with him.

And I’m not exaggerating when I say I have NEVER been more excited for a litter
I’m incredibly thankful that a few close friends are getting puppies from this litter because otherwise… I’d be having to keep several for myself 😂🤪

I spent a LOT of time searching for the right male for Sully. I wasn’t looking for just a pretty dog… a title, or a sporty “common” pedigree that looked good on paper. I wanted something that would genuinely complement her and bring something valuable to the equation.

Sully is intense. She has a ton of work ethic, high drive, high energy, and that “WHAT ARE WE DOING?! LET’S GO!!” mentality.
So when looking for a stud, I specifically wanted qualities in some important areas: thick nerves, higher thresholds, lower arousal, and the ability to think through pressure rather than simple react.
Basically… I wanted a dog that could help put some brakes on Sully the Ferrari 😂

And then I found Niko.

Almost full Czech lines, not only does he bring the temperament characteristics I was looking for, but he also comes from a pedigree that I have admired for quite some time. His genetics and background were a huge part of what initially caught my attention, and the more I learned about him, the more excited I became about what he could bring to Sully.
There’s also a little bit of a sentimental story behind this pairing. ❤️
We had actually purchased a sibling through the same mother overseas, but unfortunately that puppy passed away due to unexpected circumstances with the breeder. That was also the dam’s final litter.
Having the opportunity to still have access to these lines feels incredibly special. I’m extremely excited to be able to incorporate these genetics into my program in a different way. 🖤

🧬 WHAT WE’RE EXPECTING 🧬

I anticipate medium-high drive puppies with a really nice range of temperaments.

There will undoubtedly be a few little cracked out hooligans in there because…have you met their mother? 😂😂

But overall, this is a pairing I expect to produce balanced, confident, environmentally sound puppies with good nerves, higher thresholds, solid work ethic, and the ability to transition between “LET’S WORK” and “okay, I can turn it off now.”

We want dogs that can work hard when asked, handle pressure, navigate new environments, and still live successfully in a home. Dogs with enough drive to excel in sport and working homes, but enough stability and off switch to be enjoyable outside of the training field.
