New program alert! Day School Excursions! Day School dogs will be eligible for out and about training sessions off campus during their school day! Each excursion will be tailored to the individual dog's needs. Trail etiquette? We got you! Good manners while in pet friendly stores? Of course! Reactivity during walks in the neighborhood? We can help! All dogs will be transported safely in Ruffland kennels.

We will be starting to schedule dogs starting next week, Tuesday-Thursday! Email or inquire in person for availability!

We will be starting a new round of group obedience classes in June! We are opening a limited number of spots to the public for those who can't fit Day School into their schedule! Of course, current Day School client are welcome to sign up! Please email us at [email protected] to reserve your spot!

Maven Dog Training is excited to announce that we are now offering a limited number of Board and Train programs for both new and current clients.

This program is designed for dog owners looking for a more immersive training experience, where dogs stay with one of our trainers and receive consistent, structured guidance tailored to their individual needs. Owners can choose specific areas of focus based on their dog’s needs, such as recall, crate training, potty training, introduction to e-collar work, and more.

To ensure well-rounded, real-world results, dogs enrolled in our Board and Train program will receive training in a variety of environments, including our training facility, the trainer’s home, and public settings. This approach helps build reliability and confidence across different situations.

Please note: this program is not intended for dogs requiring behavioral modification, such as cases involving significant aggression or severe anxiety. If your dog falls into that category, we’re happy to discuss alternative training options that better meet their needs.

Because we prioritize quality and individualized attention, availability is intentionally limited. This ensures that every dog in our care receives the time, structure, and expertise needed for lasting success.

Help us welcome Duke to his very first day of Day School! Duke’s owner is doing it right by getting a jump start on his education to build a solid foundation before those "puppy antics" become permanent habits. ​This smart guy is already a social butterfly and a total natural when it comes to training.
