Our application for the SPRING 2027 student internship is open; the applications will close on November 2nd ~5 pm. If you are interested in applying follow the link below and submit a questionnaire; please get your applications in promptly as late applications will not be accepted.
A few guidelines:
All students must be 16 years of age or older to be considered for an internship
Our application period is from October 1-November 2, 2026
Students will be alerted to their application status by December 4th
The earliest available start date is February 8, 2026
The Internship is expected to last 11 weeks
Time commitment is 1 day/week for 11 weeks

LEPTOSPIROSIS

In veterinary school we were taught the saying "Lepto is late" as it often causes late term abortions in a naive herd.

The good news is: we have a vaccine for that.

The bad news: Leptospirosis is zoonotic- which means people can also get it

We most commonly see lepto outbreaks in the fall and winter- want to get ahead of that? Give us a call at 864-337-3758 to get on the schedule to get your cattle vaccinated.
