4 new adorable pups ready for homes!

Skeeter is a 1-year-old Chihuahua mix who weighs about 14 pounds, he’s the perfect size for adventures during the day and cuddles on the couch at night. His soft, wavy black coat is impossible to resist, and his sweet nature makes him a favorite with everyone he meets. He absolutely loves people and is always excited to make new friends. Whether he’s playing, exploring, or soaking up attention, this happy little guy lives life to the fullest. Squeaky toys are the way to his heart and he will happily shake them around and get the Zoomies! He is good with other dogs and kids unsure of how he is with cats.

Malcolm is a 2-year-old Miniature Poodle mix weighing approximately 22 pounds. This handsome boy has a calm, easygoing personality that makes him a joy to be around. He’s the kind of dog who is happy to join you for a stroll around the neighborhood and then relax by your side when it’s time to unwind. He will paw at you for pets and loves attention and belly rubs! He is good with other dogs and kids, we are unsure of how he is with cats.

Dexter is a 1-year-old West Highland Terrier who weighs about 11 pounds and is packed with personality. Dexter is the definition of a happy-go-lucky pup who approaches every day like it’s the best day ever. Whether he’s chasing after his favorite toy, showing off his lightning-fast zoomies, or making new friends, Dexter is always ready for an adventure. He is good with dogs and kids, we are unsure of how he is with cats.

Chavelita is a 4-year-old Chihuahua mix who weighs just 7 pounds and is packed full of personality! Chavelita is a spicy little princess who knows what she likes and isn’t afraid to let you know. While she can be selective about her canine friends, she’s happy to meet potential dog siblings to see if they’re a good match. When she’s not ruling her kingdom, Chavelita’s favorite place is curled up in your lap for a cozy nap. She loves being held, soaking up attention, and enjoying all the comforts of being someone’s beloved companion. She is good with cats and respectful kids!

We’re excited to be part of Refuel at the Pit Stop, a community car event focused on mental health awareness, connection, and breaking the stigma. While you’re checking out the amazing cars, vendors, and activities, be sure to stop by and meet some of our adoptable dogs at our Adopt-A-Thon next door!

Every dog in our care has a story. Some were facing euthanasia, some were abandoned or surrendered, and others simply needed a second chance. Thanks to our fosters, volunteers, and supporters, they now have the opportunity to find the loving homes they deserve.

🚨URGENT FOSTER NEEDED TODAY 🚨

We desperately need an experienced foster for a mama dog and her 5 newborn babies.

Mama is very sweet. She’s a 22lb terrier. However she is currently not producing milk, and these tiny puppies need someone who is able and willing to step in and bottle feed immediately. Their survival depends on receiving around-the-clock care right now.

Bottle feeding newborn puppies is a big commitment, but it is truly lifesaving. We will provide support and guidance, but we need someone with the time, dedication, and preferably experience caring for neonatal puppies.

Please, if you have experience bottle feeding puppies or know someone who does, reach out to us ASAP. Time is critical, and we need to find a safe place for this family TODAY.

Even if you cannot foster, sharing this post could help us find the right person and save these babies’ lives.

ADOPTED!! ❤️

Frito is a 2.5 month old Chihuahua mix with the cutest scruffy, wire haired coat and an irresistible little face that will melt your heart. This California boy made the journey north with his mama and siblings and is now ready to find a family of his very own!

Frito is a happy, affectionate puppy who loves being with his people. Whether he’s following you around the house, snuggling up for attention, or joining in on family activities, he’s happiest when he’s part of the action. He also plays wonderfully with other dogs and enjoys romping around with his canine friends. He is thriving in foster care and even goes to work with his foster, he has been socialized around kids!

For such a young pup, Frito is doing great with his routine and even sleeps almost all the way through the night. He’s the perfect mix of playful and cuddly, with plenty of puppy charm and a scrappy little look that makes him impossible to forget.

If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick with a big personality packed into a tiny package, Frito might just be your perfect match!

Frito will be available for adoption on 6/3 and can’t wait to meet his forever family. ❤️

Meet Rango 🐾

We can’t believe this sweet boy has been here for a month! Rango is a 5 year old, 12 pound Chihuahua mix who came to us as a stray, and he’s been winning hearts ever since. He gets along great with his kennel mates, although he can take a little while to warm up to large exuberant dogs, and has a calm, friendly personality that makes him easy to love. He enjoys playgroup with other dogs similar to his size and some of of medium sized pups!

On walks, Rango is a total pro he walks beautifully on a leash and is happiest right by your side. In fact, that’s where he wants to be most of the time! He’s a loyal little companion who just wants to stay close to his person.
Rango also loves his treats and takes them ever so gently, showing off his sweet and polite nature. If you’re looking for a devoted sidekick who will stick with you through thick and thin, Rango is your guy!

From his recent field trips:

Rango did great on a leash, did good riding in the car, was comfortable at a moderately busy park/playground, loved being carried, didn't bark and hiked 2 miles like a champ!
Rango loves to give kisses and get cuddles and does great on a leash! Such a happy dog!
