PLEASE NOTE: PPR is a very small rescue (we do not have an animal shelter, but Facebook doesn't have 'dog rescue' as a category) that is well known throughout California as one of the few rescues that will take puppies under 3 months old and pregnant dogs. Please do not message us with information on dogs you want us to save. If you have seen a puppy (or puppies) under three months old, or a pregn

ant dog at a local shelter, e-mail us at [email protected]. Please do not take this personally but there is no way we can save every dog that is called to our attention. We also get about 50 pleas per day and are on almost every rescue request list in the state, so we are usually aware of dogs that are in need of rescue. Thanks for understanding.

Manny, aka Manchego. The last man standing.

His siblings have all found their people. Manny is happy for them. Genuinely. He's fine. He's sitting in the sunshine. He looks great.

Manny is about 9 weeks old, a Terrier mix, soft white coat with caramel accents, and a personality that is all good vibes and zero drama. He loves other dogs, plays well with everyone, enjoys a good cuddle, and is genuinely one of the good ones.

Last of his litter. Absolutely not least.

If you didn't know, now you know.

We're hosting an adoption event this Saturday, May 30 from 1:30–3:30 PM at Sports Basement in Campbell (1875 S Bascom Ave, Suite 240) and the lineup is very good.

Liam — brindle short stack, shepherd mix, 4.5 months, 35-40 lbs full grown. Sunny spots, long walks, cuddle time. Stellar all around.

Lily — Liam's sister, petite velvety black beauty, 4.5 months. Easygoing, adaptable, happy anywhere. Has also mastered the paddleboard, because of course she has.

Eugene — Husky mix, 3.5 months. Highly social, extremely playful, famously judgmental eyebrows. Very soft on the inside.

Manny — scruffy Terrier mix, 8 weeks, loves dogs of all sizes. Gentle, fun, and cute as the dickens.

Remy — possible Aussie mix, 10 weeks, ~40 lbs full grown. Action-packed, loving, and genuinely entertaining.

Eugene (available for adoption!) looks like he’s about to either:

2. ask if you’ve seen his favorite ball

The truth is somewhere in the middle.

This 3.5 month old puppy is smart, wildly social, toy-obsessed, and always ready for whatever is happening. Dog friends? Great. New people? Amazing. Adventure? He’s in.

He approaches playtime with intensity and nap time with equal commitment.

Fully vaccinated, neutered, and prepared to become involved in all your business immediately.

Also yes, that is a citrus slice around his neck. He has no comment at this time.

Let's talk about Good Girl — GG — for a minute.

GG is 15 months old, 40 lbs, and genuinely one of the good ones. Smart, gentle, sensitive, and very loving. She reads a room. She plays fetch and actually brings the ball back, politely, every time. She is excellent with other dogs, like, textbook excellent.

Here's what you should know: GG lives in San Francisco and city streets are not her thing. Traffic, noise, the general chaos of urban life — she'd rather not. She is looking for somewhere quieter. Trail hikes, parks, the beach. Honestly, it sounds like a pretty good life.

She will thrive with another dog or on her own, as long as her people understand that she's sensitive and will do best in a calmer environment. In return she will give you everything she's got, which is a lot.

Some dogs are just built for a quieter life. GG is one of them, and she deserves to find it.

GG is a courtesy post. She is being rehomed by someone who loves her very much and wants the right match for her.

Our very adoptable Liam would like you to know it is absolutely not too late to invite him to your weekend BBQ. He’s available, social, and willing to supervise all outdoor activities.

The long and short of it: Liam is a great puppy.

He’s a 4.5-month-old shepherd mix with a delightfully low-rider build and a serious appreciation for sunshine, adventure, and human laps. He may occasionally relocate your shoes, but only because he cares deeply about your daily step count.

Liam is playful, affectionate, and the kind of puppy who settles into your life fast. We expect him to top out around 35–40 pounds, which feels like the ideal size for hikes, road trips, patio hangs, and stretching across your couch.
