🐾 TEMPORARY PAWSS GUARDIAN NEEDED FOR FIG! 🐾

Meet Fig Issac Newton, a very sweet (and very handsome!) 4½-year-old tuxedo boy who needs a safe, loving temporary home for approximately 60–90 days. ❤️

Fig is about 11 lbs., neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, and indoor-only. He is a shy guy who would do best in a quieter, calmer home where he can settle in at his own pace. Give him a couple of good hiding spots, a window to watch the world from, and some gentle attention, and he'll be happy! He loves being brushed, enjoys French music, sleeps most of the day, and likes to spend his evenings looking out the window. 🥹

Fig can do well with children, cats, and dogs, as long as everyone in the home is gentle, kind, and respectful of his quieter personality.

PAWSS will be there to support our Guardian throughout Fig's temporary placement. Our goal is simply to give him a safe and loving place to land while his person gets through this chapter, and then reunite them when the time comes. ❤️

Dear Clients, Friends, and Beloved Patients,
After many years of practicing veterinary medicine and sharing in the lives of so many wonderful families and animals, I am writing to announce an exciting new chapter for Four Paws Animal Clinic.
Some of you have known me since 1991, when I was the owner of Best Friends Animal Clinic. Others came to know me later as the owner of Pleasant Valley Veterinary Clinic, now Sierra Oaks Veterinary Clinic. Many of you have been with me since 2010, when I opened Four Paws Animal Clinic. Whether we met decades ago or more recently, it has been a tremendous privilege to care for your pets and to share in their joys, challenges, and journeys through life.
It has truly been wonderful.
I am delighted to introduce Dr. Phoebe Weaver, who will be carrying Four Paws Animal Clinic forward into the future continuing our commitment to remain as an independent practice. Dr. Weaver is following in my footsteps in a very special way, having previously worked as an employee at both of my former clinics. Although I have only recently come to know her, I have quickly come to admire her compassion, dedication, and commitment to providing excellent patient care.

I am also pleased to share that my wonderful staff will continue to be here, working alongside Dr. Weaver and providing the familiar faces and caring support that you have come to know and trust.

While I am stepping away from ownership, I am not saying goodbye entirely. I will remain involved with the clinic as a consultant and employee, and I look forward to continuing to see many of you and your pets in the months ahead.

Thank you for your loyalty, friendship, and confidence in me over the years. You have allowed me to fulfill a dream and a calling, and I am deeply grateful for the relationships we have built together. Caring for your pets has been one of the greatest honors of my life.

Please join me in welcoming Dr. Phoebe Weaver. I encourage you to stop by, introduce yourselves, and get to know her. I know you will find her to be a kind, capable, and dedicated veterinarian, and I am confident that she and our team will continue to provide the compassionate care your pets deserve.
