At Compassion 4 Paws, we understand the importance of commemorating your beloved pet. We’re pleased to offer a range of options, including our handcrafted cedar urns, designed to reflect and preserve your pet’s unique personality 🐾

Each urn is carefully made in Anacortes, WA, from cedar trees that have naturally fallen in Concrete, WA. These urns showcase a beautiful, natural variation in color from light to dark, ensuring each piece is uniquely distinctive. The lid is crafted to fit securely, allowing you to place your pet’s favorite toy or collar on top as a special tribute 🩵

At Compassion 4 Paws, we believe every pet deserves compassionate care, and that the human-animal bond matters, especially during difficult times. That’s one of the reasons we chose Seattle Veterinary Outreach for our quarterly donation.

Seattle Veterinary Outreach helps keep people and their pets together by providing accessible veterinary care to people who are unhoused or experiencing financial hardship. Their mobile clinics bring veterinary services directly into the community, helping remove some of the barriers that can make it difficult to get care for a beloved pet.🐾

We’re proud to support an organization that understands just how important our pets are to us and works to make sure financial circumstances don’t have to mean losing that bond. 🩵

We’re grateful for the work Seattle Veterinary Outreach does for both pets and the people who love them. You can learn more about what they do at https://seattlevet.org/

Compassion 4 Paws is hiring! We’re looking for an animal-loving, people-loving veterinarian to join our team! 🐾

We are a mobile veterinary practice based in Mountlake Terrace, WA, specializing in compassionate end-of-life care for pets and their families. We’re a 7 doctor practice with our own aquamation facility, and we believe that meaningful work and a healthy work-life balance should go hand in hand.🩵

We’re a close-knit team that values and respects one another’s personal and professional needs. We strive to create a supportive work environment where our doctors can provide thoughtful, compassionate care.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the human-animal bond and the ability to work independently. Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to support families through one of the most difficult parts of loving a pet are essential, both in caring for our clients and being a valued member of our team. 💚

If you’re looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of pets and the people who love them, we’d love to hear from you!

At Compassion 4 Paws, we know how meaningful it is to choose an urn that feels just right for your beloved pet. Each urn we offer is thoughtfully selected to honor the love and bond you shared. 🐾

Our locally made ceramic urn, crafted by Seattle artist John Ellefson, is one of the options available for your treasured furry family member. It comes in three different colors, giving you the opportunity to choose an option that feels most fitting for your pet and your family. 🩵

Every pet is unique, and their memorial should be, too. Our Care Coordinators are always here to answer your questions, talk through your options, and help you find a meaningful tribute for your cherished friend.

"Cat was one of a kind. I met her nine years ago, in the shelter, when she had already lived some time in some inscrutable former life. I was drawn to her cubby, and as I approached she stepped out of the shadows toward me. She chose me. I offered her my hand, and she twisted under it, inviting scrunchies. She drooled. and then she bit me very lightly to let me know that was enough. She did that all her life - invitation, drool, light little bite. I was instantly smitten.

Our nine years together were marked by transformation and upheaval, with our bond, her presence, as one of the only constants. All she needed in return was a consistent supply of treats, sun puddles, and attention. She loved me very much, and I loved her more than I could describe. Whatever else I experience in this life, we'll always have those nine years together.

Thank you all. Thank you for the difficult and necessary work you do with such care and compassion. Thank you for the small ways you were able to soften a painful tragedy. Thank you for doing your utmost to shepherd Cat beyond this world with all of the attention and consideration that she deserved.”

Rest easy, sweet Cat 🤎💚
