Happy Check the Chip Day! 🐾 Today is the perfect reminder that a tiny microchip can make a huge difference!

A microchip is a permanent form of ID for your pet — one that can't slip off or fade like a collar tag. If your pet ever gets lost, that little chip is often the fastest way to bring them home. Shelters and veterinary teams simply scan the chip and, if the information is current, pets are easily and quickly reunited with their owners. 💛

But here's the catch: a microchip only works if it's registered with your correct contact info! So if your pet has a chip, take two quick steps today:

1. Confirm your pet's chip is registered in a national pet recovery database.
2. Update your contact details if they’ve changed.

Moved recently or changed your number? Now's the time to fix it! Never registered your pet's chip? Make sure to do so; otherwise it’s no use if your pet gets out!

Give your pet the best chance of finding their way home! Check that chip today, and give us a call if you need help locating or updating your pet's info. 🐱🐶

Little Kenny, a 5-year-old miniature Pinscher/Jack Russell mix, came in for an ear infection and left with antibiotics and a belly full of treats for being a good boy during his visit. 🦴🩺

We hate to see patients suffering from infections, but love it when their owners notice something is off and bring them to us so we can help fast. Antibiotics and ear drops will have this superstar rescue pup feeling better in no time! 🐾❤️

Black and pink is a timeless color combo 🖤🩷 These two proved it at their annual exam! Olive, the pink pup, and Molly, the black dog, are a super-friendly sibling duo who did a wonderful job getting vaccines and wellness checks during their visit! 🐾

This spunky girl actually belongs to our very own Dr. Vincenzi’s parents! She came in for a check-up, as she was feeling a bit under the weather. 🤒 But that didn’t stop her from soaking up as much attention (and treats) as she could get! 🐶🦴♥️

This precious bundle is Tito, who came in for a kitten wellness visit! We’re obsessed with this little cutie who is already an expert at purring and biscuit-kneading. 🐱♥️
