It's official...another amazing adoption week on the books with a total of THIRTY-NINE ADOPTIONS! That puts our total adoptions for the month of May at (drumroll please) ONE HUNDRED NINETY-SIX!!! This is, of course, a record for us, and it's just an incredible feat, which could not have happened without all the love and support that we receive every single day. Thank you, once again, for making our MONTH the best one we've ever had, and for allowing us to continue to operate and rescue the helpless. Every cat and kitten that gets adopted has a story, and most are sad, but they never have an unhappy ending to their story, and these adopters are the reason why! We hope you all are celebrating with us, and we hope, most of all, that this theme continues throughout the brutal kitten season that is upon us. Good morning! We are MAMA ECLAIRE & THE DONUT BABIES! You would be hard-pressed to find someone who doesn't like a donut, so we have named ourselves after some of the best (and sweetest) around! Our beginnings were traumatic, as I was a stray in a trailer park that True Rescue was helping with. Our entire colony was in danger as the entire complex was going to be bulldozed, so True Rescue came in to save all of us. I had already given birth, and it was tough out there trying to survive, let alone with 6 babies. We were placed into an amazing foster home, and wanted for nothing. We are up for adoption today (me included), and we are now living at the True Rescue shelter. You might know that there is a HUGE ADOPTION EVENT for kittens going on at PetSmart in Mt Juliet, TN today, but me and my babies will be at the True Rescue shelter. They do still have kittens here as well as at PetSmart, plus you can give some of us adult cats a shot! Come on out to the shelter between 11-3 to meet everyone and take a tour of this magnificent place. We are so excited to meet you, and you can get your sugar fix while you're at it! See you soon!

Good evening! We are the last to announce ourselves for the night, then there will be one final litter announcing themselves in the morning. Whew! There are a LOT of us! We are THE BUTTERFLY EFFECT BABIES! Why the butterfly effect? Well, it's because we believe that when we were "accidentally" discovered on a property where we'd been hiding in Nashville, it set our rescue into motion. We had no idea what our being discovered would do to us, but lucky for us, it led to our "discoverer" talking to a person, who knew a person at True Rescue, who happened to be able to send a trapper out to catch us. Then, one by one, we fell for his trap. I don't think we can really brag about that, because we would actually witness each other get trapped, then another of us would walk right in it, once our sibling was taken away. We had ZERO idea what would happen, but in we went because there was a snack inside. Well, lucky for us, and for fate as it turns out, we were actually being saved. They put us into a home where safe hands touched us for the first time. We warmed up VERY quickly, because, as mentioned before, we are snack-motivated, and we sold out quickly for meaty bits of goodness.

Now we need to address Skipper and Brush-foot. Why, you ask? Well, it's because they went sorta viral on a video right after being trapped, and got oodles and oodles of applications, so they are not accepting any further applications on them. The good news is that Fritillary and I are still up for adoption, and we are just as beautiful in our own right! And we are females! So female power, yes!! You can meet us tomorrow at the PetSmart in Mt. Juliet, TN for the ADOPTION EVENT that True Rescue is having there for us kittens from the hours of 11-3. You will have lots of choices, as you can already see. Thanks for letting us tell our stories, and thanks for supporting a rescue that sends scary traps out into the world to save animals. Good evening! We are MAMA ARWEN & THE LORD OF THE RINGS BABIES! Just like the travelers in the Lord of the Rings, my babies and I have come a long way to be here at True Rescue. I was found as a down-and-out stray in Cloverport, KY, but I was lucky to have a kind woman take me into her homes so that I could give birth there. The only bad thing is, that there are not many cat rescues in that neck of the woods of KY! True Rescue agreed to take all of us in, because they really like to help out the rural areas, even in other states, so once my babies were weaned, on the road we all went and here we are!

You probably have already noticed that Precious is adopted. Well, our foster mama took to her, not just because she's beautiful and sweet, but because it turns out she is deaf. She decided just today to make it official, and Precious is home where she should be! My other babies will be at PetSmart in Mt. Juliet, TN tomorrow from 11-3 for the big ADOPTION EVENT. They are equally as beautiful and sweet, so come on out and meet them! I'll be hanging back until I am deemed "unable to have kittens again", which means a surgery for me next week, and then I can be yours if you'll have me! Mamas need homes too! Good evening, TGIF, and it's so good to be introducing ourselves! We are THE POKER FACE BABIES! We might have had a bit of an attitude during our photo shoot, but it's because there was just too much to see around us, and we were distracted. Plus, we don't want to show you our hand just yet...we want you to be intrigued.

Our story is common to what you've been hearing about lately from the other kittens. We were found alone under a porch in Murfreesboro, TN. After a day of our mama not showing up, it was evident we needed help, and that was several weeks go. Luckily, we ate on our own just fine, and were able to go right into a foster home to fatten up, and grow up just a bit more. It's obvious, but we are super cute, and we won't apologize for that. It's what we inherited from our mama, and we are going to flaunt it big-time in order to get adopted tomorrow. Which reminds us....we will be going to the show!!! The show is the big ADOPTION EVENT at PetSmart tomorrow in Mt. Juliet, happening from 11-3, and you don't want to miss out. There will be lots of choices, but we prefer it if you allow us to do the choosing, because we will know when you are "our" people, we just know. It also helps if you get in your application before arriving so that it can get approved earlier. Thank you so much for taking the time to listen to our little orphan trio, and please know how grateful we are to be alive right now. Hello! We are DIPSY & DOODLE, and it is so nice to meet you all! Well over a month ago, our mama dropped us off on someone's front porch in Lebanon, TN. She didn't return for over 12 hours, then wanted nothing to do with us. She must have known she was unable to care for us, because she took us to the safest place she could find. The homeowner brought us to True Rescue, and we were raised with a human mama who botte fed us for about 4 weeks until we could eat on our own. We are thriving because of a wonderful person, and now we are very excited for our next chapter!

We are going to be at PetSmart in Mt Juliet, TN tomorrow from 11-3, along with dozens of other kittens like us, who really need homes. You'll get to raise us, love us, and cherish us, and we'll do the same thing right back to you! We've heard you humans need some training as well...you know, to meet our demands and all. That's what we've heard, anyway, so we'll be looking for the perfect family to mold, and to love. Could that be you? Well "ZOINKS" to you all! It is Friday and we are THE SCOOBY DOO GANG BABIES! We always likened ourselves as a bunch of misfits, after being found as orphans on a property in Smithville, TN. True Rescue came all the way out there and got us. We learned to use our imaginations while we were scared, and we would create mysteries that we would then solve, helping to kill time while we awaited rescue. You might say we are a bit of a thrill-seeking bunch, so if you'll have us, there won't ever be a dull moment in your life! We have been at a lovely foster home, and we are making our debut at the next ADOPTION EVENT, happening tomorrow, Saturday May 29 from 11-3 at the PetSmart in Mt. Juliet. Please note that our sister, Daphne, needs an extra week to put on more weight (she's the runt so "ruh-roh), so although she is still up for adoption, she won't be there tomorrow, and can't go to a home until cleared by True Rescue's medical team. Good morning! We are MAMA BEAR & THE WILD THINGS BABIES! For a minute there, I did think we were all going to be "wild" unless we were rescued, because I had no choice but to give birth outdoors on a property in La Vergne, TN. I did the best I could to keep my babies safe, but True Rescue intervened, and got us out of harm's way and into a foster home so that we could be raised properly. We got the "wild" out of our system now, and we're ready to make our grand appearance happening tomorrow! True Rescue is back at PetSmart for a "kitten only" ADOPTION EVENT, featuring my babies!! You will see lots of other litters posted today, and we all need homes. It truly is a "jungle" out there, and we are so grateful to be survivors of that. Meet Murphey! She is one very lucky kitten who was found running across a busy road in Hendersonville, TN. One of our staff members was friends with the woman trying to catch her, so she went out last night to help get the kitten, who had hid in some bushes in front of the retail strip mall. She was very thin and dirty, but ate well, and fell into a deep sleep at our foster's house on a comfy bed with a heating pad. We are estimating her to be about 6 weeks old. She an adorable calico/tabby, and she will be up for adoption! If you are interested, please fill out the adoption form at the link below.
