Look who had his 1 pound party this weekend!!! I love it when all our tiny babies hit the 1 pound mark but especially when I get them as newborn orphans. Zander came to me only hours old with the placenta still attached and no momma to be found. At just 3 oz, I wasn’t sure he would survive the night, the week or the month. But here he is, at almost 5 weeks old, weighing a whole pound!!! Go Zander!!! 🎉🎉🎉

I apologize for no cute kitten posts this weekend. I’ve been running around non stop like a wild woman!! I saw this cartoon on another rescue’s page last week and would have sworn someone made it about me!! I’m sorry for the long delays in responding to messages. I promise I’m not ignoring them. I’m literally doing any number of the things in the captions below. Sometimes I’m doing multiple ones at the same time!

My fosters are amazing and a huge help when I ask. Our veterinarians are top notch and your generosity keeps us going. However, running all the day to day operations falls to me, along with caring for the most critical kittens in the rescue. Some days are easy, most days are not. The last few weeks have been especially crazy; full of emergencies, adoptions, requests to take kittens, and countless vet appointments. All normal things in rescue but definitely more than one person can handle. Thank you for your patience when I don’t answer messages right away, forget to text back, and fail to fill your feed with cute kittens. If anyone can come up with a way to create 2 of me, that would be great!! (Although my husband might not agree!🤣)

Sweetie would like to remind everyone that she’s still here, still patiently waiting for her perfect forever home. If you have a soft spot for senior pets, or you’re at a stage in life where a kitten may not be the best fit, our beautiful 10-year-old girl would love nothing more than to curl up in your lap and soak up all the love you have to give.

Don’t let her age fool you — Sweetie still has plenty of playful, kitten-like energy when the mood strikes. Her only “flaw” is that she prefers to be the only pet in the home. Sweetie wants to be the queen of her castle and the center of your world!

We’ve never had a senior kitty in our care before, so I knew finding the right home might take a little longer. Sweetie has been with us since January, and we would love nothing more than to see her finally settled into a home of her very own. I know it’s out there!! Please share her story so that her forever person will find her!

Daniela is a beautiful girl with the sweetest soul. When she first came to us, she was a little standoffish and unsure, but over time her foster mom slowly earned her trust. Now she’s full of love — constantly chirping and chatting whenever anyone is nearby.

She has been a wonderful mother to her four kittens, caring for them with so much patience and affection. Daniela has truly blossomed, and she will make an amazing addition to any home lucky enough to have her.

Daniela was spayed this week, completing her vetting. She is negative for FIV and Feline Leukemia, vaccinated, spayed and microchipped. She will do well in most any home. She has been exposed to children, other cats, and dogs. If you have a love for calicos, they don’t come any prettier, or sweeter than Daniela!

*1st Feline Leukemia vaccine
