According to the , 45% percent of dog owners know what Grade A cuddling is, aka, their dogs sleep in their beds 🤣. Their survey also showed that 20% sleep in a crate, 17% in a dog bed, 14% sleep in various places indoors, and 4% sleep in an outside shelter. Thoughts? Where does your angel slumber?

MEET LADY BIRD! This sweet girl is no little lady, she’s a strong gal with more to love weighing in at 80lbs! She’s currently in Tennessee with and is ready to let you fall in love with her, just like her rescuers have. In fact, this is what they had to say about her: “This girl is all LOVE! She is a 9 year old hound mix who loves everyone! She is always in the mood to play and gets along well with children. She is a fan of other dogs but would be happy to be an only fur child too! MEET JAMES!
This soulful eyed boy is approximately 7 years and those years have not been easy. James is currently living with the NYC Animal Care Centers in Brooklyn. James was taken in as a stray in the middle of winter on 12/14/20. Not much is known about James’ life before his rescue but his behavior shows he did not receive the proper love all pups deserve. He loves walks but is aloof in the pen, and probably didn’t get much attention from humans. He pulls on a leash and tries to take it. James will need an adult home where he can be the sole focus only until his behavior can be modified with love and treats. James needs patience and someone who can slowly open him up with all the love and care he deserves.

Outgoing and affectionate senior kitty Gertie is a seal point snowshoe looking for her final home to live out her golden days. She’s looking for an adopter to lounge, chat, and take lots of naps with. Gertie has special medical needs that her adopter will need to upkeep with a specific diet, access to ample water, and visits to the vet. Since Gertie has long fur, she will need to be brushed weekly to prevent matting.

has stated Greyhounds are excellent long distance runners and can keep a speed of 35mph for up to 7 miles. Cheetahs on the other hand can only maintain their incredibly fast speed for around 200 -300 yards. In a long distance race, cheetahs would quickly be surpassed by the greyhounds.
