WOW. JUST WOW! 😻❤️
We are absolutely blown away by the incredible generosity, love, and support shown at OctoPURRfest 2026!
Together, we raised an AMAZING $30,097.83 for Almost Home Cat Rescue MKE! 🎉
That's more than $30,000 to help us continue providing medical care, food, shelter, and second chances to cats and kittens who need us most.
And we couldn't have done it without YOU! ❤️
🐾 To Our Incredible Volunteers & Planning Committee
An event of this size doesn't happen overnight. It takes months of planning, countless meetings, creative ideas, long hours, problem-solving, and a whole lot of teamwork!
A special thank you to Patrick, Amanda, and Michaella for their leadership, dedication, and countless hours spent bringing OctoPURRfest to life.
To every volunteer who helped plan, organize, decorate, set up, clean up, collect donations, make crafts, sell merchandise, work the booths, promote the event, or lend a helping hand wherever needed — THANK YOU!
Whether you contributed months of your time or just a few hours on event day, every single effort mattered. We were especially thrilled to see so many new volunteers stepping up and getting involved!
This event was a reminder of what an incredible group of people we have supporting our rescue. ❤️
🍻 To Ope Brewing Co

A huge thank you to Lindsey Slater of Today’s TMJ4 for spending the day with us as our emcee! Your energy, enthusiasm, and generosity helped make the day even more memorable.
Thank you to Frogwater and Peppers and Pineapples for providing fantastic live music and keeping everyone entertained throughout the day! 🎶
And to the fabulous Ester Flonaze — what can we say?! You brought the sass, humor, energy, and nonstop laughs to bingo! We loved every minute of it! 💕
👑 Congratulations to Baroness Bliss, our newly crowned OctoPURRfest Queen! Thank you to everyone who participated in the pageant and made it such a fun part of the celebration!
🎁 To Our Sponsors & Generous Donors
We are incredibly grateful to every business, organization, and individual who sponsored OctoPURRfest or donated gift cards, merchandise, experiences, services, and other items.
From our silent auction and raffles to our wildly popular Gift Card Tree, your generosity helped make this fundraiser such an incredible success!
We also want to thank everyone who helped secure donations, connected us with businesses, and supported our fundraising efforts behind the scenes.
Your contributions made a tremendous difference, and we hope our community continues to support the wonderful businesses that supported our cats!
❤️ To Everyone Who Attended
Whether you purchased raffle tickets, bid on auction items, played bingo, bought merchandise, made a donation, participated in activities, or simply came out to celebrate with us — THANK YOU!
You filled the day with laughter, excitement, generosity, and so much love for rescue cats.
We loved seeing familiar faces, meeting new supporters, and sharing our mission with the community.

🐱 And Most Importantly, Here's What This Means for Our Cats.
Almost Home Cat Rescue MKE is a volunteer-run, nonprofit rescue. Every dollar raised helps us continue caring for cats and kittens who deserve safety, compassion, medical treatment, and a chance at a loving forever home.
This fundraiser wasn't just about having a great time. It was about making sure we can continue being there when cats need us.
$30,097.83. We are still trying to wrap our heads around that number! 🤯❤️
From our founders and Board of Directors to our volunteers, fosters, and the cats whose lives you are helping change — THANK YOU!
It truly takes a community to make something like this possible, and we are so proud and grateful to have you as part of ours.
Until next year's OctoPURRfest! 🐾🎉
