This lil baby turned out so cute despite her best efforts, and I'm super excited to see her again because I was low key pretty proud of her for this session!! She's super happy to see us every month even knowing that clippers live inside the van, so that is a win for me LOL

Ahhhh I still can't believe Moo and I got 1st place in AOPB yesterday! 😭😭 My fiance took these gorgeous glamour shots of us before dinner and I'm obsessed!!

There's nothing like competing with your own dog. Just the best feeling 🥰🥰

Thank you to judge Guzal Adekoje for my 1st place win, and for taking the time out of her day to give me my critique after the contest because I was sooo flustered by my win that I completely forgot to get it on the stage. 😂 Adjustments I'll continue to improve on include moving my tassels up, cleaner lines on the face, a more definite keyhole, and perfecting my finish by eliminating even more sticky-outies.

Think about everything that goes into maintaining your personal hygiene: you bathe daily (I hope), wash your hair multiple times a week, maintain your fingernails, and EVEN landscape your own privates on the regular 😂

When your pup goes in for a full professional groom, it is like you yourself going in for a blowout + haircut, manicure + pedicure, AND a brazillian-- also sometimes they brush your teeth and clean your ears?? And you haven't had a shower in a month. Mobile grooming also adds the luxury of having all of it delivered right to your doorstep.

For long-coated breeds like Maddie the Havanese, professional grooming isn’t just about making her look cute. Her bi-weekly appointments keep her skin and coat healthy, tangle-free, clean, and styled exactly how her parents like it. She sees grooming as just another normal part of her life-- not some random, overwhelming event that happens every few months.

Soooo next time you are thinking, "I pay less to get MY hair cut!!", maybe, but also it's not just a haircut!

My client list has been full + closed for over 5 years and these are my tips on how I did it!! Part oneeee

Specializing in maintenance grooming makes a huge difference, allowing you to consistently see the same dogs over and over so you can continue to improve on the work you do with them. It also allows for predictability in your schedule which is imperative for success in mobile grooming.

Granted, no tips I share will be useful without the most basic things people are looking for in a groomer and that is QUALITY grooms, products, and exceptional care. But hopefully
