Brie & Snow 💜❤️ 12 weeks old and so full of personality. The two are drastically different from each other. Brie loves to be out in the wild, alone, and exploring. She is a daredevil and I feel like sometimes she does things just to spite me, like looks me straight in the eyes and pees right next to her potty. Rebellious, she follows the beat of her own drum, although very often it’s the same beat that Arya is dancing to. Snow on the other hand is extremely obedient. He aims to please and tries his hardest to be the goodest boy just so you can recognize his efforts and give him a pat on the head. He would rather be chilling inside with the AC and cuddling up right next to you. He is affectionate and sensitive. They both have different things that drive them but are eager to learn. Brie is eager to learn what she can do to play. Snow is eager to learn what he can do to gain your affection. Brie tends to follow Arya’s instruction more than mine while Snow has become more attached to me. And I am so overly attached to him as well. His journey to his forever home has been delayed and I am having a harder time letting him go as the days progress. All I can say is I will make sure he has the brightest future possible. I’ve been picky and get even pickier the more I spend time with him. Everything happens for a reason and right now I’m happy he is still with our pack. Stay tuned friends. Arya’s adventures continue, now with new family members!

8 weeks old 🥺 you’ve grown up so much these past 2 months. I was able to witness your eyes and ears opening as you experienced these senses for the first time. Saw me for the first time. Responded to my voice. I applauded your first steps as you were finally strong enough to hold your little chubby bodies up. In the middle of the night I heard your first barks and got so excited I rushed to see if you could repeat them again. I’ve seen each of you develop into little dogs ready for the world. I am so happy you each are going to loving and wonderful families who will absolutely adore you just like I do. This experience has been absolutely magical and I hope to be able to see you all as you continue to grow and become the best doggies you can be. I hope your new humans squeeze you tight and tell you how much they love you. I hope those of you training in sports excel and absolutely love every second of it. I hope you remember me, because I’ll never forget you. And my doors are always open if you ever want to come visit us. It will be so very hard to let you go. But it’s time. You are ready little ones.

These two sure make beautiful puppies

Wet puppies right after their first bath 🛁 One of the delights of having a dog like Arya is not having to take her to the groomers. Her coat never needs to be trimmed nor blow dried and she’s always let me cut her nails and brush her teeth with ease. Grooming is so important, since the third day the puppies were born I’ve been cutting and dremeling their nails. I touch their toes, caress their ears, place them on top of an elevated surface to mimic a grooming table and make sure they know any interaction with them is positive and for their benefit. Introducing them to the bath was also focused on being a positive experience. Doing anything 8 times is time consuming but I bathed each one separately to provide them my undivided attention. Some wanted kisses as comfort, others just stood calmly letting me lather them and rinse them with ease. None cried, and all were cuddled and toweled rubbed dry, thanks .musica . Even at this tiny age it’s apparent rough coats are harder to dry than smooth. Cersei, Khaleesi, and Sansa are definitely rough coated. My doubts of Lyanna and Khal are super leaning towards smooth coated now! Who’s your favorite wet pup?

This week has been pretty crazy but probably the best week yet. The puppies come up to you happily and are so curious of everything around them. All of these cuties are overly affectionate. They are learning the power of their bite and their siblings let them know when they are hurting them as they bite each other all the time. The puppies started eating this week which also means more clean up. 😅 The trick to keeping things clean is catching them in the act as they easily stumble onto their siblings business and get mess everywhere. The puppies world expanded to a puppy pen filled with lots of exciting and noisy toys which they cannot get enough of. Noise introductions started this week and nothing has startled them yet. Their world is about to expand even more. Stay tuned for how they take in the great outdoors.
