Board and Train is a partnership, and your role in the process matters just as much as your dog’s.
Before a dog comes to Smart Dog, we take the time to understand their behavior, history, temperament, and what their family is hoping to accomplish. From there, we can determine whether Board and Train is the right approach and create a plan around that individual dog.
But the training doesn’t end when your dog comes home.
The owners who get the most from Board and Train are willing to learn, follow through, practice, and make training part of everyday life. Our trainers can build the foundation, but you are the one who will carry it forward.
That’s why we look at the whole picture before bringing a dog into our program. We want the training, the dog, and the family to be set up for success.
