Your horse isn't the problem. The communication is. Most riders spend years in lessons, paying trainers, still not getting collection — not because their horse can't do it, but because the tool they're using can't say it clearly. The Ragusin Collection Rein uses a patented bungee mechanism that most horses respond to within the first 45 minutes. Not days. Not weeks. 45 minutes. 24-hour guarantee. If you don't see a change, send them back. Full refund. You keep the free eBook either way. 👉

I’ve been in the arena 82 years. Long enough to know the difference between a horse trainer and a true horseman.
A trainer teaches a horse to do something.
A horseman learns to listen.

That’s it. That’s the whole thing. Everything else is just noise.
I lived that difference every day breaking wild ones as a kid, inventing the Collection Reins, putting Dancing Horses under the lights. It was never about making them perform. It was about the partnership.

My new book, The Last of the Great Horseman, is just me putting that lifetime down on paper. The lessons. The mistakes. The quiet stuff most people never talk about.

If you’re looking for fancy techniques, this probably isn’t your book.
If you want to understand the horse from the inside out… it is.

Pre-order here and you’ll get it the day it drops this fall:

Curious what “true horseman” means to you. Drop it below if you feel like it.

Over 50 years in the arena taught me one thing: the right tool makes all the difference.

My Collection Reins help horses find natural collection without force.

Riders get better movement, better training sessions, and a better partnership with their horse.

If you want smoother, more enjoyable training this summer, these reins are built for it. https://trainingyourownhorse.com

She almost gave up on arena work because every session felt like a struggle.

One pair of my Collection Reins later and she’s enjoying her rides again. The horse is round, soft, and willing.

Training your own horse should feel rewarding — not exhausting. These reins make that possible.
