Happy Thursday, FurBabies Family! ❤️ We have some exciting news!

🎉 COCO, ZANE & BETSY now have ADOPTIONS PENDING! 🎉
We are keeping our fingers and paws crossed that everything goes smoothly and these three sweet babies will soon be home with their forever families! 🏡🐾

And while we celebrate, Biscuit, Chief, Prince & Rocky are still waiting for their forever homes. These sweet boys each have their own personalities and needs, but they all have one thing in common, they deserve a second chance at a loving home. ❤️🏡

🐾 OUR FURBABIES ARE WAITING FOR THEIR FOREVER HOMES! 🐾

We know it’s been a little quiet, but we have been busy behind the scenes caring for our pups, coordinating vet visits, helping new dogs settle in, and working hard to find the right families for the dogs in our care. ❤️

We’re excited to share that these sweet babies are currently available for adoption! 🏡🐾

✨ BETSY — 5 yrs • 10 lbs • Yorkie
Sweet, gentle and a little shy at first. Great with people and other dogs. Crate trained and working on potty training.

✨ BISCUIT — 8 yrs • 6.5 lbs • Chihuahua
A tiny guy with a BIG personality! 🥰 Biscuit is happy to coexist with other dogs but would prefer to be your one-and-only canine companion. He’d do best in a quieter home.

✨ COCO — 3 yrs • 6 lbs • Chocolate Yorkie
A little shy at first, but once she trusts you, she is a total cuddle bug. 🥹 Her favorite place is right in your lap!

✨ CHIEF — 5 yrs • 12 lbs • Shih Tzu
Chief is sweet, loyal and full of personality, but he needs an experienced, patient adopter who understands boundaries and continued training. He would do best with older children and either as an only dog or with a calm, non-reactive pup.

✨ PRINCE — 3 yrs • 10 lbs • Parti Yorkie
This sweet boy came into rescue covered in fleas and suffering from severe flea dermatitis. His coat is growing back, and his heart is already full of love. ❤️ Great with other dogs and does wonderfully in his crate.

✨ ROCKY — 1 yr • 6 lbs • Chihuahua
Small body, HUGE personality! 😂 Rocky is confident, determined and definitely has opinions. He's looking for someone who appreciates a little Chihuahua attitude.

✨ ZANE — 2 yrs • 10 lbs • Maltipoo
A gentle, shy boy who has been through experiences that made it difficult for him to trust. He needs a patient home that will give him time, consistency and reassurance. With the right person, we know Zane can continue to blossom. ❤️

🐾 THEY ALL DESERVE A SECOND CHANCE

We may not know everything these dogs experienced before coming to FurBabies, but we do know they deserve to experience safety, patience, kindness and unconditional love. Their past does not have to define their future.

🐾 Happy Monday from FurBabies Animal Rescue! ❤️

We’ve been a little quiet here for the past week, but quiet on social media definitely does NOT mean quiet behind the scenes! 😅

We have been very busy continuing to save lives, picking up new pups, taking dogs to and from vet appointments, caring for our current rescues, and working hard to find ways to replenish our medical fund. 💰🩺

🏥🩺Our medical fund continues to run low, and as we continue taking in dogs who need veterinary care, grooming, medications, spay/neuter, and other medical attention, we need our FurBabies community more than ever.

🏡 We also desperately need more foster homes!

Fostering is so important because it gives a dog a safe place to decompress while allowing us to learn who they really are outside of the shelter environment. Is he good with other dogs? Cats? Kids? Does she need a quiet home? Is she happiest when someone is home most of the day?

A foster home helps us answer these questions and, most importantly, gives a dog the time and space to feel safe, loved, and comfortable. ❤️

🐾 URGENT: TALULA NEEDS A FOSTER OR PREFERABLY, HER FOREVER HOME 🏡

We need our FurBabies community once again. Talula is back with us after her adopter experienced unforeseen medical issues and could no longer care for her. We understand these things happen, but unfortunately, we currently do not have a place for her to go.

Talula is a 10-year-old Terrier mix who has already been through so much. She was originally found with her deceased owner, and we have no idea how long she was alone. She is sweet, loving, good with non-reactive dogs, crate-trained, non-destructive, and loves to cuddle. ❤️

🥹She is also older, partially blind and deaf, and experiences incontinence. Her current foster uses a diaper when leaving her home, and she needs a home where she can be let outside at least every 4–5 hours or where she won't be left confined for longer periods.

Please don't let her age or incontinence make you scroll past her. Talula doesn't need perfection, she needs compassion, patience, and a safe place to land. She has so much love left to give. ❤️

🏡 Our priority right now is finding Talula a foster takeover as soon as possible, but our hope is that someone will fall in love with her and give her the forever home she deserves.🙏

🚨 EMERGENCY MEDICAL FUND PLEA🚨

FurBabies needs our community right now. 💔🐾

We are at ZERO funds, and unfortunately, the medical needs are not stopping.

One of our newest pups, Zane, has a severely infected tooth and needs an emergency dental as soon as possible. 🦷💔

And we have 6 Yorkies recently surrendered from a breeder who also need medical attention for eye, ear, and skin infections, along with their necessary spay/neuter procedures.

These babies came into our rescue because they needed help and we cannot turn our backs on them now. ❤️

Until they receive the medical care they need, we cannot move forward with placing them into forever homes.

We know it's been a difficult summer. We know everyone has their own expenses and challenges. But if you are able to give $5, $10, $20 or whatever you can, every single dollar will help us get these dogs the care they desperately need.

🐾 Welcome to FurBabies, Pixie & Louie! 🐾❤️

Please help us give a warm welcome to our two newest rescue pups, Pixie and Louie.

Like so many of the dogs that come through our doors, we don't know much about their pasts. What we do know is that they deserve a fresh start, kindness, and the chance to experience what it feels like to be truly loved.

🩷Pixie is a 3-year-old, 8 lb Terrier Mix who came to us as a stray from CMACC. She arrived covered in fleas with flea dermatitis and several painful sores from scratching. She's a little shy, but she's already doing well in her crate and gets along with other dogs. Over the next several days, she'll receive medical care and we'll continue learning more about her personality and the type of home where she'll thrive.

💙 Louie is a 1-year-old, 7 lb Poodle who came to FurBabies as an owner surrender through no fault of his own. He's a sweet, gentle little guy who's settling into foster care beautifully. He had to be shaved down due to severe matting. He's doing well in his crate and enjoys other dogs, but we'll need a little more time to evaluate his behavior and needs before he's ready for adoption.

Both of these sweet pups will receive full 🩺medical evaluations, 💉vaccinations, and any 💊treatment they need before becoming available for adoption. Right now, our priority is helping them heal, decompress, and feel safe.

Unfortunately, our medical fund remains critically low, and the dogs keep coming. Every new intake requires veterinary care, grooming, medications, and supplies before they can begin their journey to a forever home.
We also desperately need foster homes to help dogs coming into rescue decompress while we assess their medical and behavioral needs.
