In observance of Memorial Day, both Cats Only Veterinary Clinic offices will be closed Monday, May 25.

If your cat needs urgent care while we are closed, please call 614-459-4105 and your call will be routed accordingly.

Lewis Center Limited Hours for Friday, May 15

On Friday, 5/15/26, our Lewis Center office will be open 8:00am to 3:00pm with our Client Service team available for calls, texts, emails, scheduling questions, and general client assistance.

Doctor and technician appointments will not be available at Lewis Center that day. Select medication pickups, including Gabapentin and controlled medications, will also not be available.

Our Upper Arlington office will be open 8:00am to 6:00pm.

Please plan ahead for any medication refill needs prior to the weekend. 🐾

As many of you know, Dr. Symone Niesz-Ent became the seventh Cats Only Veterinary Clinic veterinarian to achieve board certification in feline medicine this year. She is one of only about 100 feline specialists in the world! https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1Cas1dSwHx/

Congrats to Symone K. Niesz-Ent DVM, one of our new ABVP Diplomates in Feline Practice.

Dr. Symone Niesz-Ent graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2015 and fulfilled her clinical year at The Ohio State University. Outside of Cats Only Veterinary Clinic, she is a member of the American Association of Feline Practitioners, American Veterinary Medical Association, and Ohio Veterinary medical Association, and volunteers her time with Save Ohio Pets to provide veterinary care to low-income families. She has special interests in internal medicine and soft tissue surgery. Dr. Niesz-Ent enjoys riding and competing with her horse, reading, and traveling with her husband. In addition to horses, she has three cats: Sofia, Sidnight, and Seuss, and takes care of many feral cats in her neighborhood.

As part of our feline care team, Talishiona recently visited a local elementary school to talk about what it is like to care for cats each day and share a behind-the-scenes look at life in a cat clinic.

From teaching with a stethoscope to chatting about how we help cats stay safe, healthy, and happy, it was a fun chance to connect with students and share a little of what we do at Cats Only Veterinary Clinic.

We are always happy to inspire curious minds, future animal care helpers, and bring a little feline fun to our community 😺

🧡Today we are celebrating Dr. Justin Kirchhofer and the impact he has made at Cats Only Veterinary Clinic of Lewis Center.🧡

During his time at our Lewis Center office, Dr. K has cared for many feline patients with compassion, dedication, and a thoughtful approach that families have come to trust. From tiny kittens to senior companions, he has been part of countless important moments in the lives of cats and the people who love them.

He has also been a valued part of our team, offering support, mentorship, and collaboration that has helped shape the care we provide every day.
While we will miss his presence, we are deeply grateful for the time he spent as part of our Lewis Center family. His impact will continue to be felt in our clinic and in the lives of the patients he has helped.

Male calico cats like Max are incredibly rare, making this little guy basically the feline version of finding a pot of gold 😺
We think he brings a little extra luck wherever he goes!
