Burgers for a Cause, DINE IN or CARRY OUT mention VMF and 20% of of your sales gets donated to VMF.

Burgers, pizza, fries, onion rings or milkshakes, pick your favorite menu items and you can make a difference in the life of a Veteran, just by having a meal.

VMF will have a table onsite from 6-8, stop by and say hi.

Thankful Thursday

VMF is very thankful to all donors and sponsors, but we are especially thankful for our Community Partners who want to build long term relationships Today we would like to spotlight our Community Partner Cloud HQ. This partnership started 2 years ago when Cloud HQ was looking for non-profit to do a volunteer day for their staff, which worked perfectly as VMF was looking for a group who could help us in training some of our therapy dogs in a simulated group therapy, 14 volunteers from Cloud HQ and Holder Construction took part in a very important training session. Fast forward to 1 week ago and we once again hosted a volunteer day for 15 people, who helped the services dogs working through crowds.

Cloud HQ is a major sponsor for our Putts FORE Patriots and Puppies Fundraiser and we are already planning our next Volunteer day in July.

Thank you Cloud HQ for your support. VMF is very excited as this partnership continues to grow and we look forward to the future.

Friends Friday!!

Today we would like to recognize a long time friend and supporter Leah Lattus owner of Holistic Hair Studio. Leah stopped by our table at an event in Alexandria in November 2021. She told us she believed in our cause and would like find a way to support us. In January of 2022 we received an email from Leah letting us know she would like to do a cuts for a cause fundraiser and VMF was all in. Fast forward to 2026 and on May 2 the salon will be doing 5th annual cuts for a cause cut--a- thon. What started with one stylist has grown to 3 stylists donating their time to make the event successful.

We will be onsite with our ambassador dog and there will be a couple of other Vendors to visit while you wait for your haircut.

THANKFUL THURSDAY

We are very excited to bring back our Thankful Thursday posts and showcase those that are helping VMF make a difference in the life of a Veteran.

Today we would like to recognize or newest Community Partner Pinnacle MMA & Fitness on March 26th they hosted their first fundraising event for VMF at Jimmy's Old Town Tavern the Pinnacle team became guest bartenders and sold raffle tickets to raise funds. The turnout was amazing, raffle tickets sales were soaring and everyone was having a great time. At the end of the night the event raised $1,200 for VMF, that was an amazing total for their first ever fundraising event. All the staff were friendly and welcoming and many of their members showed up in support.

VMF is very excited to have you as part of the family and we are looking forward to working together in the future.

Anchor Bar NOVA has invited VMF to join the fun. Not only do you get to meet Santa but Ambassador Service Dog Bean, Therapy Dog Jerry and Santa's helper K9 Piper will also be onsite to help celebrate. We will be doing a 50/ 50 raffle and have some great gift items available.
