Charlie is a champion cuddler who loves to curl up next to his people. Since he *is* part orange, he also has a silly side, and has yet to find a toy that he can resist.

Charlie sadly had to have his tail amputated after being hit by a car, but we think his adorable little bobtail just makes him even cuter, if such a thing is possible!

This sweet young fella is friendly with everyone and full of purrrsonality. He just had his first birthday, is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, good with kids, and just waiting for his very own family to adore! Could it be yours??

❤️‍🩹 Ophelia Is Getting Stronger — But Her Fight Isn’t Over! ❤️‍🩹

After everything Ophelia has been through, we finally have some encouraging news. Her blood pressure is strong and stable, her blood sugar is looking good, and, most importantly, her body is beginning to make more of the red blood cells she desperately needs.

Her kidney function and other important markers are stable, she’s tolerating her feeding tube well, and she’s getting a little more nutrition as her body continues to heal.

👉But Ophelia is not out of the woods. She still requires intensive, ongoing veterinary care*.

Thanks to everyone who has already donated, we’ve raised about 60% of our $10,000 fundraising goal. That's an incredible start — but we still have a long way to go.

🖤 Today is Black Cat Appreciation Day and we can’t think of a better cat to celebrate than Charlie!

Charlie is an incredibly friendly house panther who absolutely adores people. The moment you walk into the room, he’ll be there to greet you, demanding chin scratches and offering plenty of purrs in return. Charlie thrives on human companionship and has never met a stranger!

Charlie does happen to be FIV-positive. FIV simply reduces a cat's immune system as the cat ages, which can leave the cat more vulnerable to other feline infections later in life.
Cat-to-cat transmission does not occur with casual contact and it is not airborne. Cats who are FIV+ can live long, happy lives!
