Douglas County Trail Riders A perfect club for all types of horse people! DCTR is a multidimensional horse club. Guests are always welcome to attend our club meetings. www.dctr.org

We offer a wide range of activities to our members including trail rides, horse shows, cowboy challenge courses, clinics, parades, fundraisers, community service, social events and parties. Our club meetings are usually the 1st Friday of the month with dinner & guest speakers at 6:30PM then the meeting immediately following around 7PM. Please check out our website for more information!

Note some updates to our schedule as follows:

Eisenhower trail ride moved to Perry on May 23rd:
There was a trail ride scheduled for Eisenhower State Park this Saturday, however the trail bosses did their due diligence and scoped out the trails ahead of time. Based on the current status of the trails, they determined the trail ride should be moved to Perry for a better experience and the date had to be moved to May 23rd. The event has been udpated.

Obstacle Challenge rain out new date July 12th:
The first series of the obstacle challenge was rained out. We have moved it to July 12th so the series will now be June 20, July 12, and Aug 15. This has been updated in the events.

Parades added:
Eudora CPA June 13
Lecompton Territorial Days Sept 27
These have been added as events.

Note that unfortunately we did not have enough interest in our derby paint party to meet our minimum and that event has been cancelled.

Club meeting this Friday! Dinner will be mexican. If you can donate an item, please contact Julie Springer or message the page so we can share the message. Things like guac, salsa, sour cream, chips all help.
