Today, we’re remembering the legendary Dolly Parton, a true country music icon whose music, personality, kindness and unmistakable sparkle touched so many lives. 💕🎤

And here at Waka, we have our very own Dolly Pardon! A fabulous little Schnauzer who just happens to share her name with a legend! 🐾✨

Our Dolly is fancy, flashy, and full of personality. She sings, she dances, and she absolutely knows how to put on a show! 💃🎶🐶

So today, in honor of a country legend, we thought it was only fitting to introduce you to our own little Dolly. She may have four legs instead of a guitar, but she definitely has the same star quality! ⭐️

Rest easy, Dolly. Thank you for the music, the memories, kindness, and the magic. 💕🎶

📚🐾 BACK TO SCHOOL = A BIG CHANGE FOR YOUR PET!

The house gets quieter. The schedule changes. And suddenly your four-legged family member may be spending a lot more time alone.

Some pets handle the change just fine, while others may experience anxiety, boredom, or unwanted behaviors.

A few things that can help:
🐾 Keep their routine as consistent as possible
🐾 Give them exercise before everyone leaves
🐾 Provide safe toys or enrichment activities
🐾 Give them plenty of attention when everyone gets home

And remember… they may not understand why their favorite people suddenly disappeared for 8 hours! 😂

We’re giving our hospital an updated look to better serve you and your pets, while keeping the same great staff, doctors, and compassionate care you know and love. ❤️🐶🐱

We can’t wait for you to see the BIG REVEAL! Until then, please bear with us while we’re in our construction phase. We promise it will be worth it!

🐾 Dr. Zeimetz may have forgotten she was working today…she stole ALL the snuggles, and honestly, we can’t blame her!

Everyone loves when a little one comes through the door, and Snoopy completely stole all of our hearts! 💕 Those puppy eyes, those cuddles… we were DONE.

Thank you for trusting our caring team with your new little family member. We’re already looking forward to watching this sweetie grow! 🐾❤️

🐾 Apparently, it was Small White Dog Day at Waka Vet!

Sometimes our daily schedule randomly fills up with the same color, breed, or size of pet. It’s never planned, but it sure makes for a fun day!

This particular day brought us a whole lineup of small white dogs. 😂🤍

Same color. Similar size. Completely different personalities! Each one had their own little quirks, expressions, and way of making us smile.

We never know what our daily schedule is going to bring and honestly, that’s one of the fun parts of being a veterinary team!
