🎄😳 HOLIDAY OPEN BARN IS JUST TWO WEEKS AWAY! YIKES!!

So yesterday, I started a few of these primitive glass mosaic trees. Because apparently, two weeks out is the perfect time to start another project! 😂

I love these simple, primitive projects. No pattern, no plan… just wing it and see what happens! ❤️

Something about the old, the used, the broken, and the rearranged that really speaks to me. Pieces that may have been tossed aside find a new life, coming together in a way that’s a little imperfect, a little unexpected, and full of character.

That’s my kind of creating! No two will be exactly alike, and honestly, that’s part of the fun.

Now, if I can just get them finished before Holiday Open Barn 🤣🎄November 6–8 at Historic Taylor Barn. The countdown is ON! ❤️✨

🎄❤️ Tannenbaum Pillows — A Legacy of Love, Memories & Making Do ❤️🎄

My kind and gentle Grandmother Keller was a woman who embodied both frugality and love. She never wasted a thing, always finding new purpose in well-worn items that others might have discarded.

That spirit lives on through her unique and cherished Tannenbaum Pillows, lovingly crafted from tattered old quilts and well-used chenille bedspreads. What others might have seen as worn out, she saw as something worth saving, reimagining, and giving new life.

She taught me so much about making do, seeing beauty in unexpected places, and understanding that the things we hold onto often carry the most meaning.

These pillows are more than repurposed treasures. They are little pieces of history, stitched together with memories, resourcefulness, and love. And every time I think of them, I think of her. ❤️

What a wonderful reminder, especially during the holiday season, that the most meaningful treasures aren't always new or shiny. Sometimes, the very best gifts are those that carry a story, a memory, and a little piece of someone's heart. 🎄
