At nearly 11 weeks old, and only her second time to the pool, Hazel is a true Watersprite!

We visited friends for a romp, a puppy(and handler 😄) pool party, and poolside dinner. Hazel is a water rat, like me, and just wouldn’t stay out of the water.

This board was floating in the pool. I was about to get out and leash Hazel. Suddenly, she got the idea to jump onto the board! It didn’t look as good as this but I was able to save her, and all she wanted was to be on the board. I put her up on it and this is what it looked like.

Do you have a Watersprite?

At 8 weeks all the pups got to play in the pool. We went back for a visit at 12 weeks and Hazel wouldn’t stay out of the pool!

Whether she was walking down the stairs, leaping onto someone’s shoulders, taking a misstep, or being pushed in by her mother 🤣 we barely had a chance to get out of the pool ourselves.

Sadly, no pictures or videos were gotten of those precious moments 😢 However, there’s a plan for the NEXT time!
