Our dogs are bred for versatility, excelling in conformation, fieldwork, and sports, while also being loving and loyal members of the family.

Saratoga 4H Meet the Breeds!! This will be our 4th year participating in this event. Hard to believe Mabel was just a baby our first time attending. We will have a table set up with all the Toller info! There are plenty of breeds to learn about and other vendors and demonstrations as well. We always have a fun time. Come see us on September 12th.

Our last Enchanted Forest creature has flown off to new lands. Pegasus has ventured to Norwalk ,CT. She will reign over two cats and be pampered by 5 human companions. Forever known as Freya, Sardonyx’s Queen of Cats.

We survived 5 days of shows in 80+ sunny days!
Adirondack Circuit Recap
Kailani took Winners Bi**h and Best of Opposite S*x on Wednesday. She took reserve the rest of week and got her first qualifying pass for the AKC Temperment Test.

Kestra took reserve on Wednesday and Winners Bi**h and Best of Opposite S*x Thursday thru Sunday!

Neptune took Owner Handled Best of Breed on Wednesday and he earned his AKC Temperament Test Title!

As a breeder I have set some personal goals, things that I view as signs that I am doing things right. One of those goals was to have repeat puppy buyers. I think it says a lot about a breeder when a family comes back and says the dog we got from you was so wonderful we would love another.

Earlier this week I made that goal a reality. Last summer I sent a female puppy to Colorado from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame litter(Draco x Cherry), that puppy was Ramones now Chama.

On Monday, Chama met her half brother, Toadstool now Huck (Sardonyx’s River of Adventure). The two are building a bond that makes me so happy.

Thank you Irene and Grahme for loving Cham so much you needed another one 😉.

Last weekend three of our forest dwellers headed off for adventures.

Gnome left for the Louisville Forest in the kingdom of Kentucky. He has a new Toller sister and is now known as Rowan (Sardonyx Rowan’s Cherry Pie).

Bluebell headed for the Milford Forest in Connecticut. She will be enjoying life with her lab sister and soon to be new human sibling. She is called Ivy(Sardonyx Enchanted Ivybelle).

Primrose will now reside in the Forest of Armonk in New York. She has a new Aussie sister and parents that have been waiting for a Toller for a long time. Her name is now Luna(Sardonyx’s Evening Primrose).

Our first mythical creatures left for new kingdoms today.

Gryphon headed to the Kingdom of Rye, near the Big Apple Forest. He now resides with Queen Chelsea and Maid Marion and will be known as Finley the brave💙 (Sardonyx Siris’s Fionnlagh).

Faerie will be exploring the neighboring forest of Glenville, a short distance from her birthplace. She will be working alongside her new family of apothecaries Dorcas and Joe and adventuring with sister Remi. She will be known as Tilly (Sardonyx Tilli’s Sign).

Kailani and Kestra finally got to play with the puppies. They can be a little rough so I wait until the puppies are really sturdy 😊

Kailani has passed her OFA evaluations. Elbows and patellas are rated normal and hips rated Good.

The puppies had a busy weekend. First they got a space upgrade. The whelping box was removed and they have a large space to play with their new toys. On Sunday they had more visitors. One of our new puppy families came to visit and play for a bit. We enjoy getting to know our families in person when possible before puppies go home. Thank you Kathleen and Brandon for spending time with us.
