We speak for those who can't speak for themselves! Pals For Paws is a dog rescue group powered by an ALL-VOLUNTEER staff who are passionate about improving the lives of pets in their community. Our foster families provide homeless, abandoned, or abused pets with the love and training needed to heal their wounds, which allows them to make a successful transition into a new forever home. Our MISSION is to reduce PET ABANDONMENT & OWNER SURRENDERS by holding adoption events, promoting low-cost spay/neuter programs, and by creating a compassionate, well-informed foster-home network. We are committed to creating a compassionate community where stray, abandoned, or neglected animals are non-existent; and where destroying animals is no longer used as a means of population control. Animals that are unwanted, abused, neglected, or ill; we are dedicated to ensuring their life from this point forward is an amazing one. This 501c3 NOT-FOR-PROFIT rescue proudly supports NO-KILL and PRO-SPAY/NEUTER philosophies. We rescue from high kill, overcrowded shelters from all over the country. We vet, transport and foster pets until the perfect match is made between you and one of our adoptable pets!

Sissy is a very sweet, 10 year-old, 10 pound, Chihuahua, looking for a forever, loving home.  Sissy is crate and house trained . Sissy was surrendered to PFP winner owners could no longer afford to care for her. Sissy came to us very thin and most of her hair was missing. However, she has been fully vetted and she is putting on weight and her hair is coming back in. Sissy loves everyone, kids, other dogs, and she is indifferent to cats. If you’re looking for a loyal and loving and companion, Sissy may be the perfect one!

Sissy’s adoption fee Is $250 and 100% of our donations and adoption fee fees go directly to the care of our homeless animals….. We are an all volunteer based organization.

 Libby is a very sweet, easy-going, two year-old, 15 pound, Maltese mix. Libby is crate and house trained. Libby enjoys going for walks and playing with other dogs. Libby was surrendered to PFP when her owners could no longer afford to care for her.  Libby is a very good girl and she could live in an apartment, or a patio home. If you’re looking for a low maintenance and very love and companion, Libby may be the perfect one!!

Penny is a very sweet, cuddly, nine year-young, 13 lb, very healthy, Maltese, looking for a new lap to lay on. Penny is crate an house train.  Penny was relinquished to PFP when her family no longer wanted to care for her. Penny enjoys going for walks and being with people, however Penny will do best in a home with calm, older children. If you are looking for a cuddly, loving companion penny may be the perfect one.

Tater is a very sweet, easy-going, five year-old, 30 pound, Frenchie looking for a new forever home. Tater was picked up as a stray and never reclaimed. Tater is house trained, and crate trained. Tater loves people of all ages, other dogs, and is indifferent to cats. Tater enjoys going for walks, laying in the sun, and being with people and other dogs of all ages. If you’re looking for a sweet and easy-going companion tater may be the perfect one.

🩶🐾 DAISY IS STILL WAITING — WHEN WILL IT BE HER TURN? 🐾🩶

Her puppies are moving on to their new lives. Her dog friend is getting a fresh start. And sweet Daisy? She’s still here, patiently waiting for someone to choose her. 💔

Meet Daisy, a gorgeous 2-year-old Great Dane/Labrador Retriever mix with a stunning silver-gray coat, a sweet soul, and so much love left to give. This beautiful girl came to APL alongside two of her puppies and a canine friend. Now that the others are getting their chance at a new beginning, it’s Daisy’s turn to find out what it feels like to be someone’s beloved family member. ❤️

We suspect Daisy may have been used for breeding in the past. Whatever her life looked like before, we hope her future is filled with cozy beds, leisurely walks, tasty treats, and people who love her simply for being Daisy.

✨ Here’s what we know about this silver beauty:

🐶 Gorgeous silver-gray coat guaranteed to turn heads wherever she goes
💕 Can be a little shy when meeting new people, but warms up quickly
🦴 A BIG fan of treats! She can get a little grabby when excited, but she’s already mastered SIT when the treat bag comes out
🚶‍♀️ Loves her daily walks and is working on keeping her excitement in check on the leash
🏡 May need a little patience as she adjusts to new surroundings, especially since loud noises and quick movements can make her nervous
🐕 Friendly and appropriate when meeting other dogs; she has mostly been content sharing space with them, with a little play mixed in
🐱 Curious and gentle when meeting cats
👧 Has previously lived with children without reported issues
🏠 Reportedly house trained and crate trained

Daisy isn’t asking for much. She just needs someone willing to give her time to settle in, help her build confidence, and show her that the best part of life can still be ahead. She may need a little reassurance at first, but with a patient, loving family beside her, we believe she can blossom into a wonderful companion.

It’s hard watching the dogs around her move forward while she continues to wait. Daisy deserves more than to be the one left behind. She deserves a family who sees her beautiful face, gets to know her gentle heart, and decides she’s the one they’ve been looking for. 🩶

We are looking for Foster to adopt homes for the sweet Chihuahua puppies. They must go to homes with fenced in yards to keep them safe from diseases because they have only had one set of Puppy shots they still need two more sets to build their immune system. They are very tiny puppies and need to have a home without small children they are very fragile. And we would prefer homes where someone is Home a lot to continue working with them on house train. 

*  must have a Home with fenced in yard no apartments, patio homes or community areas.
* no small children they are very small and fragile.
* must have good vet reference.
* must be home and  have time to work with your Puppy on house training.
* must have another small dog for them to bond with.

adoption fee Is $450 and 100% of our donations and adoption fee fees go directly to the care of our homeless animals….. We are an all volunteer based organization.
