When you have 19 horse’s grain to keep track of, it’s gotta be organized or it’s chaos! This is my grain room and I absolutely love how it turned out. They used to keep grain and tack in here, but we made tack lockers for each person out of armoires, so no more tack in here just everybody’s grain and supplements in sealed containers, we added a countertop, storage, a cutting board and a fridge and then lots of nifty tools like a coffee grinder for grinding flax seed and pills and a bunch of other tools like that. A cabinet to keep prepped grain buckets, ready for the next feeding, but out of access to critters, a big tote full of soaking boots and easy boots and standing bandages if they’re needed, there is a sink and an on-demand hot water heater. They are not hooked up yet because we haven’t run the water into this room yet so they are sitting there as a hope and prayer that it will happen someday. My grain board is my holy grail. As for the artwork, this crazy menagerie started when I put up three posters I had drawn in high school and then used as “education posters” for fair when I was in 4H. I was given some things and I either illustrated myself or created the rest with my cricut. And of course there’s a chandelier. If you know me you know why. 🤪😆🥰
