Baffoni’s Poultry Farm is an 80-acre farm located in Johnston, Rhode Island. The family owned and operated farm was first founded in 1935 as a small poultry farm and has slowly expanded ever since. Baffoni's currently maintains a medium-sized vegetable garden and raises approximately 25,000 chickens and 1,200 turkeys. All animals are treated humanely in a cage-free environment and are fed a 100% v

egetarian diet. Everything is done on site in Johnston including the raising of baby chicks, the collection of eggs, and dressing of the chickens. Stop by to try some farm fresh chicken and eggs!!

This week, we said goodbye to our eldest family member, and the heart of Baffoni’s Poultry Farm, Donald J. Baffoni.

Donald was a constant presence on the farm. If you visited, you likely saw him driving a tractor or golf cart, or you’d find him posted up by the office watching customers come and go. He always offered a wave, a smile, and made everyone feel welcome.

We take comfort in knowing he is reunited with his wife, Ruth, who passed a few months before him. They were married for over 65 years.

Donald will be sorely missed, but we will carry his spirit with us every day on the farm and in our hearts.
