Fierce Animal Rescue Fierce Animal Rescue is located in Woodstock, IL. We focus on helping cats and kittens from McHenry County and surrounding communities.

We are 100% volunteer run, and our cats and kittens are cared for by loving foster families.

Meet Olive... a warrior in a petite little body! This momcat came in with 2 kittens, but accepted and raised another 6 that needed a place to go!

She is built like a kitten herself, though we think she is over a year old now. She is compact, but will make sure you don't forget to feed her or give her attention when she wants it. She will tell you all about it!

Olive was given a "tipped" ear, expecting that she'd not be a friendly cat since she was found outdoors. Well, she had plenty to say about that too, and once she was done raising and protecting her kittens, she decided she enjoys being inside, and really really enjoys being spoiled! She will come to you for attention, and really enjoys being petted, but is not sure about being picked up. She enjoys naps in bed or on a perch, and likes to be near her people.

Little orphan Liberty was brought into CASE in Crystal Lake along with her sister, Fuji (adopted recently!)

Both kittens were quickly accepted by foster mom, Olive, who we had saved just a week before from the same place!

This weekend, Liberty was adopted by a wonderful family!

We are thrilled that Liberty gets to grow up with a two year old human sibling, two wonderful adult humans who adore cats, and a 14 year old calico who will now have a protegee to assist her with looking out the window.

Jon contacted us when he saw a beautiful black panther named Paloma on our page.

Jon has been searching for the perfect companion for his amazing rescued cat, Keats.

We brought Paloma over to meet Keats this afternoon.

It was an incredible moment of love at first sight!

Paloma immediately rubbed up against Keats, and then refused to leave his vicinity. She climbed up above Keats on a cat tree, and looked at Jon quite clearly and said I'm home.

It's the beginning of what is already a legendary friendship (and budding romance) between Keats and Paloma.

It was a match made in heaven.

We are so incredibly happy for Jon, Keats and Paloma!

Double the trouble or double the fun? These two are probably some of each! Meet Jack and Zeppelin. These two boys look almost identical and they are great buddies, as well as litter mates. These boys are used to lots of cuddles, lots of playing, a big friendly dog, and being spoiled by love, food and toys galore in their foster home! Jack brings the energy, Zeppelin brings the snuggles. An absolutely darling kitten duo that are ready to find their family and begin their "furever" life.

Kittens Kittens Kittens! Here is our cast of characters, aka our adoptable kittens! All of the kitties pictured here are 4-5 months old, spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to find their forever families!

Arthur is a calm, handsome sweetheart with the cutest little chirps and meows when he wants attention.

Liberty is stunning, and the friendliest most drama-free tortie we have ever met. She is a snuggler, too!

Empire prefers a calmer household, and would like just one or two buddies or to be the sole center of your world.

Serena has a great calming presence, but is a happy, playful kitten, and gets along with everyone.

Buster might put on a tough guy act sometimes and is a very active, playful guy. But when it comes down to it, he just wants to be safe and loved.

Honeycrisp is quite outgoing and playful, and is a vocal gal-- she will tell you if she wants food or attention!

Paloma is a quiet, calm girl, super sweet and just an adorable and friendly housepanther who enjoys cuddling.

When this little girl came into foster, we were expecting some major "tortitude!" Instead, Liberty showed us how sweet and snuggly she is, and almost completely attitude-free! There is no drama here, just an outgoing and friendly kitten!

Liberty gets along with other cats great, but is also fine finding her own fun. Like all kittens, she loves wet food, treats, and toys. A good nap on a hammock or as part of a kitty sleep pile is enjoyed frequently. She has met a dog in her foster home and could coexist fine with respectful dogs.

Good morning from this amber-eyed beauty! Empire is a calm little girl seeking a fairly calm home. While her siblings love to wrestle and tear around the room, she is happier doing her own thing and observing their activities. Not to say she doesn't play-- because wave a feather wand around and Game On! She is still a kitten, and toys and food are quite popular.

She is a bit shy and not sure about asking for attention, but she is easy to pickup and snuggle for awhile, and pretty content with just quietly hanging out. And if perhaps a brush was involved for head and chin scratches (fingers work fine too), she will melt into you and the purr machine might turn on.

She has been exposed to a dog in her foster home and mostly keeps her distance. She loves a perch on a cat tree to watch whatever is going on, inside or out! She would probably be fine solo or as a friend for more laid back cat(s).

Twiggy is an adventurer, but found herself chased up a tree and too terrified and high up to come down. With the help of a great local tree company and a posse of volunteers from several area animal rescues, she was safely brought back to solid ground with a bucket truck. We don't think she enjoyed this little adventure, but it did land her in a foster home with other kittens, who became her buddies almost inmediately.

This girl is energetic, playful, spunky, and ready to wrestle with other cats 24/7. She is very busy, but is okay with attention once she tires out. She would be awesome as part of a duo or as a friend for a cat that needs more activity and a snuggly friend in their life.

Twiggy will be at our kitten party this Thursday evening from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Nature's Feed: Natural Pet Products, Pet Food, and Pet Supplies in Spring Grove.
