A lucky day for Pot O Gold(also known as Goldie)! We went out today for an exam on an outdoor kitty that the client was taking care of. Part of our routine exam for every patient is to scan them for a microchip and to our surprise she had one. We then called the microchip company and were able to get the owners information. We called to see if they were missing a calico kitty and they immediately became emotional and very excited that we had found their missing cat. We met up with the owner shortly after for a happy reunion for Goldie and her family! Some may say it’s the luck of the Irish but today it was definitely the luck of the microchip. We highly recommend microchips for all of our patients and making sure the information is accurate. Thanks to her microchip Goldie is sleeping at home in her favorite ten year old humans room again! Yay for Goldie and family and a special thank you to our client who has been loving and caring for Goldie and called us out!
