Somehow the cutest hound puppy has become the cutest hound dog, and still has no home of her own.

Noodles is so well rounded, sweet, and charismatic!

She is marvelous with other dogs, pays no mind to cats, and loves children!

She is our longest resident and eagerly waiting for adoption!

This is Sullivan. We also call him sully. I rescued him January of 2024 and the vet estimated he was 1 1/2 - 2 years old at the time. He has been neutered. He was due for his yearly shots about a month or so ago, so those will need to be taken care of. He’s always been seen by Jackson vet. He is full of energy and very vocal. Loves to destroy dog toys! He has been good with kids but he does like to jump. He’s never been around a cat with me so I’m not sure how he would act. He has never had an accident in the house. He is crate trained. He does sleep outside of his crate at night though. He loves soft throw blankets! He gets excited to go on walks and pulls a little on a leash at first but does good otherwise!

JEWELS is a timid young lady, only 18 months old. She’s in foster care where she gets along well with all her canine siblings, the huge ones and the tiniest ones. She likes to play but is gentle and calm, just follows the crowd.

JEWELS would do well with an experienced dog owner who is willing to spend lots of time with her and patiently allow her to blossom. 🌸

I’m proud to announce a record $1.15 million investment through Georgia’s Dog and Cat Sterilization Program Grant to help expand access to affordable spay and neuter services across our state.

This funding will support shelters, rescue organizations, and veterinary partners as they work to reduce overcrowding and improve animal welfare in communities across Georgia.

Applications open May 15 and close June 15.

Our sweet SADIE! 💕💕💕

Sadie is a sweet girl with a gentle heart who’s looking for a calm, understanding home to call her own. She loves other dogs and does well with both young and older pups. While she’s pretty social with her canine friends, cats just may not be her thing.

This girl lives for a good game of fetch and will happily show off her frisbee-catching skills! Once she feels comfortable, her playful, fun-loving personality really shines.

Sadie can be a little nervous with new or frequent changes, so she needs a patient human who will move slowly with her and give her the time and reassurance she needs to build trust. A calm, steady environment will help her feel safe and confident. She would do well with kids or older children who are dog-savvy and understand how to respectfully interact with her.

Sadi is about a year old and 40 lbs and currently up to date on all her vetting.

She’s not looking for perfect — just patient. And in return, she’ll give you her whole heart. 🐾
