Day 10 of 10 – Puppy Series
Blacksnout Chasin’ the NB “Chase”

Chase stood out this week with his natural ability to expand his search into the brush and thickets, going beyond the open field. His pointing was strong, and his desire to work was evident.

Water work developed nicely over the course of the week, rounding out an overall solid performance.

Blacksnout Chasin’ the NB « Chase »

Chase s’est démarqué cette semaine par sa capacité naturelle à élargir sa recherche dans les buissons écoulés, dépassant les bordures du champ. Son intensité à l’arrêt et son désir de travailler étaient évidents.

Le travail à l’eau s’est bien développé au cours de la semaine, complétant une performance globalement solide.

Day 9 of 10 – Puppy Series
Blacksnout Remember Lexie “Keera”

Keera showed herself to be very prudent during her first field run, taking in her surroundings with care. On day one, she made contact with five birds and pointed the last, an early display of her developing instincts.

Her pointing intensity and style are strong, and she clearly enjoyed her time in the field. Let’s just say she took full advantage of every opportunity to flush birds throughout the rest of the week.

Water work and retrieving came naturally to her, rounding out a very complete performance. By the end of the week, she earned her place among the top three pups.

Jour 9 sur 10 – Série chiots
Blacksnout Remember Lexie « Keera »

Keera s’est montrée très prudente lors de sa première sortie au champ, prenant bien le temps d’observer son environnement. Dès le premier jour, elle est entrée en contact avec cinq oiseaux et a pointé le dernier, un signe précoce de son instinct en développement.

Son intensité et son style à l’arrêt sont remarquables, et elle a clairement pris plaisir à être sur le terrain. Disons simplement qu’elle a profité de chaque occasion de faire lever les oiseaux tout au long de la semaine.

Le travail à l’eau et les rapports sont naturels pour elle, complétant une performance très complète. À la fin de la semaine, elle s’est classée parmi les trois meilleurs chiots.

Day 8 of 10 – Puppy Series
Blacksnout Lethal Weapon “Nox”

Nox, the runt of the litter, started off showing a tendency to stay a bit closer to his handler during his first field run. As the days progressed, his confidence grew quickly, and his development followed suit.

With each outing, his progress was evident, backed by a strong prey drive and a wonderful intensity on point.

Water work remains a bit more challenging at this stage, and will be an area of focus as he continues preparing toward the NA test in June.

Blacksnout Lethal Weapon “Nox”

Nox, le plus petit de la portée, avait tendance à rester un peu plus près de son conducteur lors de sa première sortie au champ. Cependant, il a rapidement pris en confiance et son développement s’est accéléré au fil des jours.

À chaque sortie, ses progrès étaient évidents, appuyés par un fort instinct de prédation et une très belle intensité à l’arrêt.

Le travail à l’eau demeure plus difficile pour le moment et constituera un point à travailler en vue du test NA en juin.

Day 7 of 10 – Puppy Series
Blacksnout Silent Threat “Jake”

Jake came out of the gate with an impressive search in the field, moving with confidence and purpose as if he’d done it all before.

Water work proved to be a bit more challenging at first, but with encouragement and exposure, he made very solid progress and began engaging much more willingly.

This is a dog with serious “wheels”, covering ground with ease and showing the kind of drive that stands out.

Blacksnout Silent Threat “Jake”

Jake s’est démarqué dès le départ avec une quête impressionnante, parcourant le terrain avec assurance et intensité, comme s’il avait toujours fait ça.

Le travail à l’eau a été un peu plus exigeant au début, mais avec de l’encouragement et de l’exposition, il a fait de très bons progrès et s’est engagé de plus en plus volontairement.

Un chien avec énormément de « moteur », capable de couvrir du terrain avec facilité et démontrant un drive remarquable.

Blacksnout Ready For Takeoff “Bandit”

Bandit proved to be a well-rounded and stable dog with an excellent temperament. Sweet, cooperative, and eager to work, he approached every task with a willing attitude.

Across all aspects of his development, Bandit delivered a consistent and solid performance. He pointed with confidence, swam willingly, and honored appropriately, showing a balanced skill set and reliability beyond his age.

A dependable young dog who simply does things right, day in and day out.

Bandit s’est démarqué comme un chien équilibré et stable, doté d’un excellent tempérament. Doux, coopératif et volontaire, il aborde chaque exercice avec une belle attitude au travail.

Dans l’ensemble de son développement, Bandit a offert une performance constante et solide. Il a arrêté avec assurance, nagé volontairement et honoré de façon appropriée.

Un jeune chien fiable, qui fait bien les choses, jour après jour.

Blacksnout Leading Man “Tango”

Tango proved to be an exceptionally natural dog from the very start. On his first bird, he pointed with intensity and style, immediately showcasing his instinct and composure.

He carried that same natural ability into every aspect of his work. On his very first exposure, Tango swam confidently and, even more impressively, honored another dog on point. Something truly special to see at this stage.

Moments like these are rare and, quite simply, breathtaking to watch. Tango’s natural talent and presence in the field set him apart, making him a standout in the group.

Blacksnout Leading Man “Tango”

Tango s’est révélé être un chien extrêmement naturel dès le départ. Sur son premier oiseau, il a arrêté avec intensité et style, démontrant immédiatement son instinct et sa prestance.

Il a démontré cette même aisance dans tous les aspects de son travail. Dès ses premières expositions, Tango a nagé avec confiance et, fait encore plus remarquable, il a honoré un autre chien à l’arrêt. Un comportement vraiment exceptionnel à ce stade.

Ce genre de moment est rare et tout simplement spectaculaire à observer. Le talent naturel et la présence de Tango sur le terrain le démarquent clairement.
