The black flame candle has been lit! 🔥

We will be bringing three adorable frenchie mommas into rescue tomorrow from a breeding operation just in time for Halloween 👻

They range in ages from 2-5 years old and will need all the routine vet care including being spayed.

We’re asking for your help with donations to get them well cared for and off to their forever spooky homes!

Alright fam. We need your help to find this ador-a-bully a forever home! Please share this post!

Rev girl is still out looking for hers and we want to get this baby placed before Halloween!

Rev is a 4.5 year old Olde English Bulldog with a BIG personality and an even bigger heart. ❤️ She came into rescue after her beloved human passed away,

Rev is full of joy! She’s a happy hippo with happy feet, a wiggly b***y, and plenty of love to give. 🥰 She absolutely adores her humans. She knows how to sit and kennel up.

Rev is crate and house trained, vetted, spayed, and up to date on her vaccines. She has had eye surgery and has a few cysts between her toes that are healing nicely with care.

She is:
4.5 years old and 97 pounds
Selective with dogs
Unsure of cats
House and crate trained
Low energy with spurts
Good with children

Mojo is having a ball this morning with a stuffed rabbit he found at his dog sitters home. His foster parents are on vacation so he is staying with another volunteer this week. Mojo is a senior boy but we still see so much life in him. He loves toys, meandering and being nosy, great with other dogs and even cats (one even whacked him in the face this week and he didn’t care), is a total attention hog, yet, still a sophisticated gentleman.

He has been with us quite a long time and we understand a senior pet isn’t for everyone, but if you’re interested in learning more about Mojo, let us know!

Darla is a 6-year-old (54 pound) attention queen who can never get enough lovins! She has never met a stranger and believes personal space is completely overrated—for both people and other dogs. 😂

She has spurts of energy where she’s ready to take on the world, and other times she melts right into the floor and refuses to move. You just have to love her for who she is!

Darla loves people, enjoys the company of other dogs, and has some… let’s call them enthusiastic hu***ng tendencies. 😉 She’s a whole lot of personality wrapped up in one lovable girl!

If you’re looking for a dog who will shower you with affection and keep you laughing, Darla might just be your girl! ❤️

Oagie is still looking for his family. He needs to be an only pet, but loves all humans! He is a very good boy.

He is a 7 year old English bulldog
Surrendered due to failing health of his former owner.
Good with other dogs and cats
Probably best placed in a home without young children
He really enjoys a quiet and relaxing space
Must have enough couch room for this 70 lb potato
Will likely need ongoing eye medication/treatment
No special diet or food
Some difficulty with seeing and hearing, but vocal enough to let you know what he wants
Loves going on walks
Adoption fee of $400

He’s going to need a home with time and patience to let him get acclimated to a new space. After 7 years in the same home it’s more than understandable that it will take him some time to find his groove again.

He is not officially available for adoption but we will start gathering applications ahead of time

💔 Gretchen Update 💔

Our sweet foster girl, Gretchen, has been diagnosed with lymphoma. She has affected lymph nodes in her jaw and back leg and has tested positive for cancer. Sadly, we’ve been told she may only have weeks left. 😔

She is now on steroids to help slow the swelling and keep her comfortable. We’ll be watching her closely for any signs of pain or a decline in her quality of life.

We know dogs are good at hiding their pain, and we promise we will not let Gretchen suffer. Until her time comes, she will be surrounded by love, cuddles, and everything she deserves. ❤️🐾

Please keep our sweet girl in your thoughts. 💕

Everyone, please wish our amazing volunteer, Angie C, a happy birthday. She works *tirelessly* handling all the foster dog intake/surrender requests, and we simply couldn’t do this amazing work without her!
