About Amendment 83:

This is a message written by Larry Weiss, a fellow Colorado resident.

“There is a dangerous amendment to the Colorado Constitution on the ballot this November. It is Amendment 83. There is a poison pill hidden in the language of this amendment. PLEASE VOTE NO ON AMENDMENT 83.

On its surface the amendment seems innocuous. It confirms the right to hunt and fish in Colorado which already exists. The poison pill is the phrase, hidden deep within the amendment, which authorizes the use “of traditional methods” of hunting. This would allow the use of such tactics as steel-jawed traps, bear baiting, and lead-tipped am******on which poisons the whole food chain including scavengers who feed off the remains. These are all things that currently have been outlawed but this amendment, if passed, would bring them back. The passage of this amendment would undo 30 years of work in protecting animals.

So please vote NO on amendment 83.”

Hey! L👀K!

IT’S OFFICIAL. 💜 Say hello to VEGAN VAN ON COLFAX.

After 10 years of food trucking, moving, growing, pivoting, rebuilding, and figuring it out along the way, we finally have a place to call home. And when it came time to decide what that home should be called, we asked you.

We read your comments. We counted your votes. We listened to the people who have supported Vegan Van through every version of us. And this one just felt right.

Vegan Van on Colfax. Still Vegan Van. Still us. Just finally, permanently, somewhere.

Thank you to everyone who voted, shared ideas, debated names with us, and helped us make this decision. We’re so grateful you wanted to be part of it.

Now there’s only one thing left to do…OPEN THE DOORS. 💜 And we’re working non stop to make that happen! More updates to come.

See you on Colfax soon!

This is such a poignant story. Please don’t turn away from it. Please have enough empathy to read and watch. Please see and hear. Please remember him, and think of all the others you don’t see.

Lucky Dogs Club House is where our sweet, perfect senior girl, LuLu, came from. They loved and cared for her for 5 years before she became our love. Thank goodness for them. Please share this video to help them save more sweethearts in need. Thank you!
