Liberty is healing very slowly, but still needs support. This little girl was found at the end of January, curled up like a piece of trash after being hit by a car and left for dead. She suffered severe trauma and breaks to her femur and hip. Her foster mom has been lovingly keeping her on rest after her surgeries. This is no way for a puppy to start her young light. Bryn & Opie Were Thrown Away Like They Didn’t Matter. We Couldn’t Walk Away.
They’re just babies. And somehow still wagging their tails.
Bryn and Opie were dumped with broken legs, left to suffer in freezing weather with no shelter, no pain relief, and no chance—unless someone stopped. We couldn’t leave them. No matter how overwhelmed, no matter how scared we were of the cost, we picked them up and promised them they were finally safe.
Now they are in rescue withBig Paws K9 Foster House and the reality is heavy.
Opie has already undergone surgery.
Bryn’s surgery is coming up soon.
Both will need ongoing medical care, pain management, follow-ups, and weeks of recovery.

Sweet BRYN will have surgery next week, and we are hoping it will correct some of the issues going on with his tiny body. We never know what these dogs endure when they are dumped and live out in rural areas.
