We are on the hunt for a working student to join our team!
Do you LIVE for horses?
We need someone that burns for this life and can’t go a day without thinking about horses and I don’t mean only the cute feel good parts. You gotta eat, sleep, breathe the hustle.
Do you have to know how to ride perfectly- no. You will get mentored on horses and how to start/train young horses.
Do you have to be a sponge for learning and a respectful human being - absolutely. You must be able to handle direct instruction, have communication skills and be mindful of body language/tone.
Do you have to be willing to do the non-glamorous parts- yes. If you think this is a typical 9-5 please do yourself a favor - go find an office job.
This person should have a teaching mentality in order to get paid to teach beginner lessons.
Live in position, one bedroom, one bath efficiently with a weekly stipend. Two days off. Opportunity to bring one pasture horse.

AAF had an AWESOME time at Tryon International!
Haylie catch rode King Louis V in the 3’3 juniors pinning in every class and getting called back in the Hamel Medal. Thank you to his owner Kelly Kelbert for allowing Haylie the ride!
Emma and A Regal Rendition stepped up a division to Short Stirrup taking several top placing including a 3rd over fences!
Nicole and Diesel RSF stepped up a division to long stirrup and rode beautifully!
Elyse and Can’t Help Falling in Love grabbed GRAND CHAMPION in the 3ft Adult Amateur 18-35. Thank you to his owner Arielle for leasing out this great horse!
Andi and Diesel RSF had several placings in his 3ft green hunter classes and placed 12th in the National Hunter Derby.
Haylie and Rockabilly SC overcame a few demons in the jumper ring and are well on their way to a strong partnership.
5 yo Rockabilly SC and 6 year olds Party Time SC and King Louis V were super brave and did well in their young jumper classes!
Big thank you to the owners and the show parents for dedicating your time and efforts into these horses and students!

Y’all- check out our phenomenal babies from the YHS jump chute! 2 yo Sphalerite F (Comme Il Hero Z X Diamant De Semilly) winning 1st in hand and 1st in chute, 3 yo Allure SC (Apiro X Goldmaker XX) tied 2nd in hand 2nd in chute and 3 yo Radiant Untouchino (Contefino X Untouchable) winning 1st in chute and tied 2nd in hand! Attended her first rated show beginning of May in the .75m and .85m! Have both her half siblings in my program; 6 year old sister is showing 1.25m and 5 year old brother is showing 1.10m.
2018 Oldenburg mare by Checkmate out of a Larino mare.
15.3 HH, barefoot, proven broodmare, easy keeper lives on a ration balancer and hay.
Would recommend she stay in a training program, not for a beginner as she does have her own motor and is on the greener side.
