This Memorial Day, Spring Branch Rescue remembers and honors the heroes who gave everything for our freedom — both two-legged and four-legged. 🇺🇸🐾

Today we pause to remember the brave men, women, and service animals who served our country with courage and sacrifice. Because of them, we get to continue doing what we love most…saving lives, one paw at a time. ❤️

Our rescue family is grateful beyond words for those who never made it home and for the families carrying their memories forward today.

From our silly rescue crew wearing their patriotic hats and bows to all of you following our mission — thank you for supporting rescue, compassion, and second chances.

✨ Meet Carly: Professional Tennis Ball Collector, Full-Time Goofball, Part-Time Therapist ✨

Carly is the type of dog that wakes up every morning like she just drank 3 iced coffees and got accepted into Harvard. 😂

🎾 Tennis ball addict
💋 Gives unsolicited kisses
🚗 LOVES adventures and car rides
🧘‍♀️ Occasionally enters “zen mode” for dramatic effect
🐾 Certified Velcro dog
😄 Smiles like she pays taxes and has good credit

This girl is PURE personality. One minute she’s zooming around acting like a tiny athlete, the next she’s melting into your lap like a baby.

Carly LOVES humans and believes personal space is completely overrated. If you sit down, congratulations…you now have a dog attached to you.
She’s playful, affectionate, hilarious, and has the kind of happy energy that makes bad days disappear. Honestly?

Carly acts like every single day is the BEST DAY OF HER LIFE.

We seriously don’t understand how this girl hasn’t been scooped up yet.

Honestly… Chica has more facial expressions than most humans 😭💗

Hello Spring Branch Rescue friends — we need your help.

We received a message requesting assistance for a kitten in need. Unfortunately, this baby is suspected to have ringworm, and at this time all of our current fosters are completely full with kittens and unable to take on an additional medical case.

We are urgently looking for an experienced foster who is familiar with treating and managing ringworm in kittens. If we can secure a foster placement, Spring Branch Rescue will step in to help this kitten get the care it needs.

Can anyone in our rescue community assist or help us network for a foster? Even sharing this post could make a huge difference.

Weekend Update: Pamela

Pamela had a spa day with our friends at Pooch In The City! on Memorial Dr and WOW… look at this beautiful girl now! ✨🐾

Thank you so much to Susana and the team for supporting our rescue efforts and making Pamela look absolutely amazing. 💕

Pamela will be getting spayed in June and then she’ll be ready for her forever family. She is full of energy, playful, silly, and would do best with an active home and another balanced dog that loves to play.

Jessica Rabbit Update 🩷
Who remembers the mama dog found hiding underneath a maintenance shed with her puppies on Easter weekend? Look at her now. 😭
At first she wouldn’t even look at us. We had to trap her just to get her safe. Today, thanks to our amazing fosters, she is learning to trust humans, play, and finally enjoy life.
Every animal deserves a second chance. 🐾

Wonderful news for Spring Branch Rescue family of friends and supporters! ❤️🐾

After waiting patiently for their perfect families, Enzo, Elsa, and Simon officially made it to the East Coast over the weekend and are now HOME!💕💕💕

Sometimes the wait feels long, but stories like this remind us that the right match is always worth it. These sweet pups went from uncertainty to brand new beginnings filled with love, comfy beds, belly rubs, and families excited to welcome them home.

Thank you to our fosters, volunteers, transport team, adopters, and supporters who helped make this possible. Every share, donation, application, and mile driven helps change lives.

Texas may have an animal crisis, but together we are proving that hope travels across state lines every single week. ❤️

Hello Spring Branch Rescue friends. We had a busy weekend.

🚨 URGENT CALL THIS WEEKEND…
Black dog running from multiple males…
We thought SHE was in heat…

Plot twist 👀
👉 That was a MALE

We kept searching… and found HER 💔
Scared. Exhausted. In heat.
And it’s clear… she’s had way too many litters already 😞

But not anymore.
✨ SAFE
✨ OFF THE STREETS
✨ NO MORE PUPPIES EVER
This rescue took a TEAM 💪
From pickup → transport → foster

The rescue community came togerher. Volunteers showed up BIG to help us and we are grateful. Thank you to Lisa Hilton Noble for helping us get this girl to safety. Takes a village! We have amazing transport volunteers & fosters making rescues a reality.❤️. We couldn't do this without them!
