🌞🐾 Keep Your Pets Safe During Extreme Heat! 🐾🌞

💧 Always provide fresh, cool water.
🚫 Never leave pets in a parked car—even with the windows cracked.
🌅 Walk and exercise them early in the morning or later in the evening when it's cooler.
🌳 Bring water and take breaks in the shade during walks.
🏠 Keep pets indoors during extreme heat whenever possible.
☂️ If pets must be outside, make sure they have plenty of shade and shelter throughout the day.
🐾 Protect their paws from hot pavement by walking on grass or using protective booties. If it's too hot for your hand, it's too hot for their paws!
❤️ Flat-faced breeds, older pets, and overweight pets are especially vulnerable to heat and should stay in air-conditioned spaces as much as possible.
✂️ Keep your pet well-groomed, but don't shave their coat completely—it helps protect them from the sun and keeps them cooler.
