Fur A Pawsitive Future We focus on TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) in the Northside Village (77009) area of Houston, Texas. We aim to continue our work independently as a non-profit.

We also rescue stray, friendly, abandoned cats and whenever possible we help community cats with medical needs. We focus on Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) in the Northside Village area of Houston, zip code 77009. Over the course of 2 years we have spayed and neutered over 450 cats through sponsored spay/neuter programs. We also seek to care for sick and injured feral cats. We also fundraise to try and transport healthy, friendly street cats out of the Houston area and on to good homes.

Eyes sealed shut - 6 babies like this at a home that began with 1 unfixed female. One baby didn't make it 😞 We rescued 11 kittens and have fixed at least 10 cats so far. We aim to get all done. Donation links in our bio.

Please spay and neuter community cats that you're feeding! We're in the middle of kitten season already. There are plenty of free resources in Houston.

THIS!!!

It began with 1 female cat this family rescued from the highway and did not get fixed. We counted 16 adults and 8 kittens. Not sure how many are nursing or pregnant, but this week, this is our project. To get every single one of these cats fixed and treated for fleas and/or their skin conditions.

This situation has also created tensions with the neighbors due to the amount of cats.

Spaying that 1 female could have prevented this. Spaying and neutering also reduces the pressure and burden on shelters and rescues.

Be responsible feeders!
