Frisco recently had a big adventure and discovered something about himself, he’s a beach dog! He loved exploring the shoreline, splashing in the water, and even going for a swim. Beach, water, sunshine, and adventure, Frisco approved them all. 🐶🏖️💙

Foster Chronicles 🐾

One thing I never expected when starting a rescue was how often I’d be helping people through the loss of a pet. I’d say about 75% of my adopters have lost a dog within the last year or so.

I’ve had conversations filled with tears, stories about soul dogs, and memories of pets who left paw prints that can never be replaced. It’s a reminder that adoption isn’t always about getting a new dog. Sometimes it’s about finding hope again after loss.

We spend a lot of time talking about the dogs we save, but not enough about the people who need saving, too.

To everyone who has opened their heart after saying goodbye to a beloved companion: I see you. To every dog we’ve adopted out, thank you for helping heal a heart that needed you. ♥️

Funny, smart, and loyal are the three words that describe Reno best. Whether he’s following you around the house, or going on adventures, Reno is happiest when he’s with his human. He’s a well-mannered pup who is potty trained, does great when left alone, and gets along well with other dogs. Reno is the kind of dog who quickly becomes your best friend and loyal sidekick.

Nova is our newest Resident Superstar!

This young lady has been with us for almost 100 days. She is need of a forever home asap. Not only is she a favorite among staff and volunteers, she is an absolute Doggy Day Out rock star! Nova also had her first doggy daycare day and did fantastic! Thanks Raise the Woof Pet Resort !

Frisco spent the day exploring with his foster, Ellie! He enjoyed a car ride, a walk in the sunshine, and even found the perfect stick to show off. After all that fun, he curled up in the passenger seat and slept the whole way home. This sweet, goofy boy is always ready for his next adventure.
