Caliper (Callie) had her spay today and we will officially be taking applications for this sweet lil tri-pod.
Thank you so much to those who donated towards her care. We’re still looking at around $1500 for her surgeries not including her emergency visit prior to surrender. Anything helps. We’re happy we could step in and give this little girl a chance at a happy life.

Update on Caliper!

Caliper was hit by a car had a broken femur that didn't have a great prognosis for healing. Animals do very well with 3 legs, so it was in Callie's best interest to remove her leg in order to live a pain free life.

She did wonderful through surgery and is at home recovering with her foster mama ❤️

We will continue to update her journey! We have had many expensive medical cases lately. Any donations are a significant help to us! Thank you to anyone that donates or shares this post!

Adopt Grogu! 💚

Grogu is a female subadult Leopard Gecko. She was surrendered from a pet store with metabolic bone disease: a common problem for reptiles when proper calcium/UVB needs are not met.

While the effects of metabolic bone disease cannot be reversed, it can be stopped and the bones can be strengthened again.

She has been in Forster care for several months to ensure she is growing and developing properly. She has been doing fantastic and has very little detriment from her disease. She has slight bowing of her legs, but as you can see she can walk, run, and climb just like any other gecko!

She is looking for a loving home that will give her the proper care to ensure she does not get metabolic bone disease again.

EMERGENCY DONATIONS NEEDED

We were contacted last night by Animal Emergency Hospital. They had a hit by car 4 month old puppy come in named Caliper, and the owner could not afford treatment. She was going to euthanize if a rescue didn't step up right away. It appears she has a broken leg. She will possibly need amputation. She's on strong pain meds currently. We need donations so we can help this poor baby.
